oh i totally think it's an age thing. i'm sure DD has even heard me mutter to myself "why do i have to do everything around here?" on a bad day. [:P] i think it's likely also an older sibling thing too. when i sit down & talk with my DD about it i admit to her that she gets more responsibility than her younger sister because of her age & abilities.

did anyone's kid develop a mild, non-contagious form of chickenpox a couple days after the shot was given? what was the protocol for school/daycare when this happened?
an adult i know just got the shot a few days ago & now has spots. i'm assuming it was caused from the shot & not her catching it before the shot. she's checking if it's safe to go to work or if she'll risk others' health...

love it lol! my older DD says stuff like this once in a while & i'm sure to put her in her place (gently of course [;)]). sometimes she'll say stuff like "i have a million things to do!" when i ask her to put her clothes away & put her towel in the bathroom. sometimes when she's super frustrated she'll say "why do i have to do everything around here?!" LOL...ya, right kid. [:P]

would you be able to help local schools? we have some Usborne parents who sell books @ my kids' school a couple times a year. they also have a donation spot for each of the classrooms. some parents from local parenting groups sell them too. i don't think it would be hard to find people to buy.

my kids are almost 7 & 4.5 years old & they share a room. they had separate beds for a while until they decided they wanted to sleep together. they had a queen sized bed until we started having problems with them talking & not going to sleep until late. now they have a bunk bed. (older on the top & younger on the bottom) PROBLEM SOLVED! they go to bed when it's time & ther...

well, i drank decaff. coffee during pregnancy & breastfeeding. you'll find out how caffeine affects your child through trial & error. for me, i found that i could have 1 regular cup of coffee a day, but not in the late afternoon or evening.

have you ever heard of GABA supplements? maybe it wouldn't be too incredibly helpful for you since it's supposed to be more for anxious people, but i just wondered if you had ever done research on it.

my DH used to get headaches often as an adult & as a kid. DD#2 sometimes says she has a headache. i've taken note that not enough water, warm weather, needing to eat, & needing to rest seem to trigger her. i took her to our family dr. who said headaches & migraines can be hereditary. i also know a neurologist friend who said that no invasive testing needs to be done unless other sympto...
