HI !
Do you guys rely on the little thermometer that came with the yellow incubator in the supply list? I feel like it is a bit hard to read---thinking about getting a different one? Also, do you heat your EW to 98.7?
Thanks!

Thank you so much for the welcome, PD, Luv4boys and maybe baby! I have been gone and have a lot of catching up to do!! Wish I had a laptop!
PD,
I still get scared too----I want a baby daughter so badly, but I just try to focus on the fact that TTC is the only way to bring her to me and that all babies bring so much love and open our world no matter who they are! Some days I am stronger tha...

Good luck, Gard----I hope you hear some good news soon! And good luck to everyone gearing up in the next couple of weeks----
Just want to say that I wish everyone their dream baby---I know I don't post much, but I have read along when I can find the time and find this board INVALUABLE. I used to post a lot last summer but on a different forum when I tried IVF TTC a girl. It didn't work for me---c...

HI Hopefull---
I think I have read that you should just swish the SW instead of mixing it, but I can't imagine it would make such a difference. I am going to try that next...Good luck!

Hi girls----
Got a quick question----I've noticed that my cervix is usually low and feels very soft! It is weird---when I approach ovulation, it gets higher and feels soft and then I notice a shift to it getting harder but it still stays high and then when it falls low the day after ovulation, it is soft again---not hard in the slightest!!!I Is it supposed to stay firm until AF? I used to th...

I know exactly what you mean----that is what my sorts look like and I am not sure if that is a great sort or not?
I too had trouble seeing sperm in the top layer but they were there in the middle and bottom after an hour in the incubator---not quite sure why they didn't make it all the way to the top-----that is where we are supposed to get all the fast Y swimmers and I feel like I am not g...

Hi!
I had my second practice run tonight for SU---hoping to try this month. The warmed EW didn't float together all on top---parts of it sank quite a bit but not all the way to the bottom--some thin sections seemed to float-----but when I looked under the microscope after 45 min. the top ofthe mixture had the really fast swimmers on their way to somewhere and the ones at the very bottom see...

I just saw this on the FAQS about the women who tried this with success in 2004 but I can't find any other info on it in old forums----anybody know how many women tried it? Anybody thinking about this? How big of a hole would you make and with what?

Hi girls!
I am still on this LONG journey of trying to figure out whether I am brave enough to really go for it, but I am happy to say that I finally started experimenting for real this week.
I was so excited that the EW floated and stayed seperated for the hour in the incubator, but then sank when I put the pipette in to remove the top layer :(( Any ideas?
Also, I tried looking under the...

Serendipity,
YOu are so wonderful for sharing all of your hard-earned results and suggestions----I haven't been online much lately and was feeling discouraged about the whole prospect again, but after reading your past posts I feel inspired to pick up the test tubes and try myself. I am sure I am speaking for many when I say THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

Tamara,
You are such an inspiring person----and I am so thrilled for you that this worked. It all seems part of God's plan for you. Thanks for being so helpful (especially now with a newborn) and for reminding us always to PRAY. May God continue to bless you and your family as he always has...
Truly,

Do you think the climate could counter-balance the winter/full moon? I live in South florida and only about 8 miles from the beach. I am planning on trying to conceive in Dec (and who knows how many months past that) b/c I really don't have much time due to my age. I plan on running my air purifier. Any thoughts??

The picture helps a lot---but two more questions----does the bulb just rest on the bottom of the incubator or do you secure it up off the bottom in any way? And, did you cut the foil in half like they say in the directions or just keep it as it came on the bottom?

COMPLETELY relate! Sometimes I just wish I would get preg by accident so it could be out of my hands too----I am getting very tired of trying to decide all this too b/c I want all the time I devote to this to be spent on other things---namely my husband and kids! I spent almost a year on the IVF stage and that didn't work and now here I am trying to figure out the swaying. But, it is obviously ver...

Sounds like a great plan (although I am very new to this!)
Quick question---when you say lime juice concentrate, do you mean Real Lime brand that comes in a bottle, or frozen lime juice concentrate??? I kept thinking I would just squeeze a fresh lime---would be easier to use the bottle version! Does it make a difference?
