Re: Please read - I have found a study that may be helpful for anyone trying to make sense of this "nub' business...

Thank you for sharing that study. Our bundle was conceived via ivf and I can see exactly where we fall in the timings- as our scan was done at 11+6 we actually fall ( if I read correctly) in the 50/50 group as that is where most girly looking nubs can turn out to be boys. I think! For the record, if your dates are correct and reading the study I would say you have yourself a little girl! Keep ...

Re: Need some good news. Any gender guess on our little bean?

Yes, we had the all clear following an amnio. I know this doesn't help you now but I promise the floaty pregnancy feeling comes back when this passes xxx

Re: Need some good news. Any gender guess on our little bean?

We also had low Papp A and high Bhcg. I know how difficult the wait is and wanted to say I am thinking of you. How low was your PappA?

Re: 15 week scan picture - any gender clues?

Thank you for your guesses. I was concerned that the baby wasn't quite flat enough and leaning a little to the left! I've not heard the shadow theory before- something else to nubsess over! I never thought staying team yellow would drive me to this!!!!! X

15 week scan picture - any gender clues?

Re: You need to already be a mom to answer this .......

Thank you so much for all your responses. I know I'm hormonal at the moment but everyone's guesses are starting to annoy me! I was told today it had to be a boy because the baby is so active!!!!!! Saying that, also been told I'm massive so it must be twins!!!!! Grrrrrr!

Re: You need to already be a mom to answer this .......

Thanks! I guess when it comes to people guessing 'everyone's' an expert! ;). I just wondered if there was anything in it! I've looked at owt, nub theory, skull theory etc just for fun. All I can say is this is one 50/50 baby!

You need to already be a mom to answer this .......

Hi Ladies! As I am sure you have experienced everyone you meet likes to guess the gender, especially if you are staying team yellow. Well, my question is this. ...... How many of you mummies out there had the majority of people guess the same gender and go on to be right? I would say 80% of people tell me it's a boy! Could this be right? This has been going on since 12 weeks, way before I...

Re: Is there a nub visible?

Thank you for the guesses!  It has been fun trying to put our journal together. However, it comes down to one thing, patience is a virtue!  Or that's what I'm telling myself - getting super curious now!  Only 9 more weeks.  This baby really does not want to give much away!

Re: Is there a nub visible?

Thanks for the guess! Is there anyone else who would like to guess? I notice quite a few views but only one guess? Is it a bad picture? Is there no nub visible?

24 Mar 2012 9:33 PM

Is there a nub visible? **Update**

Well our yellow bump turned blue on 1st June at 2:21 am, a beautiful little boy weighing 7lb 4 oz. xx Well done to those who all guessed blue! X

Please help! Can you see a nub? xxx

Hi, I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first child and we are staying team yellow. As I mentioned in a previous post I am compiling a 'just for fun' gender section in my pregnancy journal. I am looking at old wive's tales, results from blood draws and nub/skull guesses. I hope this will be enjoyable to look over when our bundle arrives and in any future pregancies. This is where you guy...
