Just thought I would give you a wee update, being induced Thurs 16th Sept (2 sleeps away) at 38 weeks due to the Gestational Diabetes complication of this pregnancy :(

Induction of Labour set for me Thurs 16th Sept at 38 weeks due to having Gestational Diabetes. Had last clinic today and on examination I am walking around 3-4cm dilated arrrgh! so with my husband only flying in from abroad at 11.15am on the day I am being induced, I shall be sitting with my feet up and legs firmly crossed the whole day tomoz as to not tempt fate and have things happen too...

this is just the regular scan at the local hospital not a fancy one, pretty crazy tho, not seen as clear a pic like this before from a hosp scan although i've never had a scan this far on...

haha brilliant, maybe I should do that, been seriously p*ssed at some ppls judgmental assumptions grrr, latest one my auntie was apparently worried about calling me to tell me my cousin had a baby girl incase I was upset WTF!!! When have I ever given off vibes that i am THAT distressed about having 3 boys is beyond me. wish ppl would stop dramatising situations!!!!

34+1 weeks pregnant, with gestational diabetes treated with Metformin tabs.
on tues 33+5 obs were... bump measure 34 weeks, head free, protien in urine
today fri 34+1 obs were... bump measure 32 weeks, head 4 5ths, ketones in urine
both bp 140/98 and 140/88 high ish!!!
feeling like rubbish overall too, headache, been sick again, lots of mucus plug/ discharge especially after any...

get a wash and blowdry at the local hairdresser, :D my sis is a hairdresser so has in previous treated me to that in the last few weeks of pregnancy. I have long thick hair and yeah feel faint after doing the works in the shower, so luckily i only need to wash my hair 2 times a week max.
As for shaving sack that, i just get waxed again by someone else.
I am banking on my showergel with moisturi...

soz to keep anyone hanging on, i am ok, baby fine and still in tummy, plug gone and some fluid, they inconclusive as to whats what but happy its not main waters fluid 'licher'
kept in hosp for a spell to monitor and also did glucose profile to amend gestational diabetes meds. home now to sit it out for next 4 weeks. xx

I have had 3 inductions all for different reasons and planned induction this time round for yet a different reason and tbh it was a HUGE relief to me to know I shall be induced in a controlled environment with pain relief available again :) has made me enjoy my birth experiences sooo much more.
Each to their own but I wanted to know i would be able to get pain relief, personal fear of mine the be...

Right last week had a few biggie braxton hicks, backed off now.
Saturday night after dtd lots of lower back cramp and period type pain thru the night. again backed off now
Since weekend lots of mucus plug coming away, on pad and when wiping especially after walking about and going to the toilet. (Not bloody but never has been with last pregnancies) know for sure its that.
Have felt pad damp /&...
