We co-sleep with Morgan, so something usually happens! She projectile barfed all over the bed, me, my hair and the pillows the other day. I didn't burp her well enough apparently. Our oldest son's bed is also the guest bed, so his sheets get changed really often as we always seem to have company. My youngest sons bunk beds seem to get left out, so I've started doing his beds when I do his brothers...

Is it wrong to be this excited about hubbies upcoming vasectomy?!? I feel like I should have a ticker that reads
"Hubby is getting tutored in 17 days!"
funny, he is not nearly as excited as I am! And when we go grocery shopping he keeps asking if he should stock up on frozen peas or corn. Which will conform to shape better and hold the cold longer?!?
Then my 4 yr son asks me a few ai...

Long story short, I am calling my son's school and setting up an appointment to see the principal tomorrow. My son is in grade two this year and it seems he has gotten the "not so great" teacher this year. And by not so great, I mean I'm worried if he is actually going to learn a thing this year. A friend of mine has her son in the same class as mine, and she was telling me some odd things about w...

Our whole family got the vaccination on tuesday. We waited in line for 5 hours to get it as our baby was only 5.5 weeks old, and I could not even imagine her getting sick, or one of my boys (4 & 7). We debated and pondered for quite some time, and we are glad that we went for it.

I bought my stroller with this exact thought in mind ( amoung many others!). I folds down on the wheels, is great in snow, slush, mud and crud. Mine is a BOB stroller and I love it!

Aww, I'm so sorry that you Mom is being a party pooper. I too think that every baby deserves a shower because EVERY baby is a special blessing! Go and have a great time with the shower your sister is throwing you, if nothing else do it for your precious new little boy so he can have pics in his book like his siblings!! And also, go, be super happy about showing off your new little man to everyone!...

Hey ladies,
Well, looks like this forum is my new "home"! Morgan is 11 days old today, and although hubby and I would LOVE more kids....I think I hate being pregnant more than I want more babies! Does that sounds horrible? Morgan is a wonderful baby, and we are enjoying her more than we could ever imagine.....but I'm keeping that Oct 20th date on the calendar for hubbies "Big V' consult appointme...

Oh hon, both my first 2 were this way. I swore my body had no clue how to go into labour. But #3 arrived on her own (with the help of a midwife's concoction!), so here are good strong labour vibes for you!!!! ~~~~~~~[E]~~~~~~~

Wow, that drink really works. I've been contracting again and not just a little bit. PLEASE let this be the real thing. Break water, break!!!

Well piss me off!! I'm feeling much better, the contracions went from being 30sec-1min apart and lastin for over 2 minutes.......down to almost nothing. [:'(]
SO.....hubby convinced me to make another concoction. OMG, it is VERY difficult to get the second glass down. It was thick, it smelled HORRIBLE, I could barely drink it. I felt like I was someone off of Fear Factor. I was gagging every gulp...

Well, I did the 20 minute lie down after a nice big glass of water. And in that 20 minutes I had 4 contractions. I've been up and around the past almost hour and I'm starting to really hurt. I think this is it. Knock on wood. Cause if this is fauls labour......this SUCKS!!

I hope I don't jinx myself, but I think this is it. My contractions are getting stronger, and are really close together. That part is wierd, so hopefully they iron themselves out and get better spaced out because they are starting to HURT! Basically if I walk around the house and I get a contraction, I start fumbling around trying to find a way to ease the pain.

Good idea. I'll test everything by having a lie down and some water. I'll let you know what the experiment proves. Fingers crossed!

Still not feeling quite right, contractions are still coming often and I'm just hoping and waiting that they fall into a regular rythym and to contiue to get stronger. Right now they are coming often and starting in my belly and wrapping around to my back. So they seem promising, I just hope I don't get let down!
Fingers crossed! At least the quesy nausea has pretty much subsided, that ...

Just got out of the bathtub. Figured I better get cleaned up, hair washed, all that jazz JUST in case. Well, the contractions didn't stop in the tub and haven't let up yet. I'm having these "easy to deal with" contractions quite often and they can are ranging from not too bad (noticable, but I can chat to the hubby on the phone through them easily) to more intense where they take my breath away, b...
