Just got home from the hospital with our adorable baby..........GIRL!
I can't quite believe it, but it's starting to sink in that we actually have a daughter and are getting used to terms "she" and "her".
She was born on Oct. 28th at 11:47pm,, 9lbs 2.5oz, only about 7hrs after my membranes were stripped, so that definitely got things moving!
Off to get some rest, I'll post a pic soon...

Had an ob appointment today, am 3 cm, bulging membranes and she stripped my membranes. Sure hoping this gets something started!

I can't believe we are so close to meeting our little one's!!! So excited to see everyone's pics and hear birth stories[love]
I am in desperate need of more patience as I am finding myself getting so anxious to meet this little one already, and I would love if I could just relax and enjoy the end of my pregnancy...any tips ladies?

I'm still suprised I'm hanging in here...but so glad to have made it this far!
At my appointment last week my ob checked me and thought baby would be here in 7-10 days, cervix very thin and soft, and it's now been 7 days and no baby...I'm getting a little nervous about going overdue now, how crazy is that!
I have another appointment on thurs so we'll see where I'm at then[:)]

oh don't worry about not being "ready" yet Ariel, all you need really is a car seat and the rest you can deal with once baby's home. Well that's my theory anyway[:P]
I have my hospital bag packed, but all that really includes is some jammies, toiletries and coming home outfit for baby. Have a car seat and just bought some newborn diapers. Other than that, we don't even have a ro...

I work full time. Planning to stay home after this baby though...I think[*-)]
Not sure when I'll start my mat leave. I went on sick leave with my last at 32 weeks, so I guess we'll see what my doctor thinks, I see her again on Friday.
When are you planning on starting your leave?

Tuplips - I'm so sorry you are having so many physical issues right now. I had SPD with my last and it was awful, so much so that I had to quit work early as I could hardly walk anymore, and didn't sleep as it was so painful anytime I moved! Hope you are able to find relief someway. I've heard a chiropractor has worked for some, it didn't really help with me, but it's worth a sho...
