Wonderful! Then I will definitely try it! I'm so excited to finally have a milk supply (I didn't with my first child) that I'm terrified to screw it up!

Hope you don't mind me chiming in here- but we're in the same boat. Our babies are 1 day apart in age and I'm also strictly pumping and giving it to her by bottle. (which is completely exhausting!) She has been eating 3oz every 2-3 hours and just recently has been taking an occasional 3 1/2 - 4oz bottle. If she is fussy after 3 oz, I offer another oz and she's content...

Hi, the mini-pill was briefly discussed, but my Dr. suggested I try the Nuvaring (I'm not sure why). The mini-pill doesn't affect milk supply? Maybe I'll try that. Thank you!

I apologize if this has already been covered-but I did a search and didn't come up with it!What is everyone using for birth control that isn't affecting their milk supply? I had my 6-week check up on Wednesday where I was put on Nuvaring. 48 hours later, my milk supply dropped by SEVERAL ounces... I yanked that sucker out of there quick! OMG I still have at least 40lbs to go!! I just got the "ok" on Wednesday to slowly start exercising. Very depressing!!! Congrats to everyone on their weight loss!

Ooh what a bummer!!! On the bright side, you don't have much longer to go, everything else is going well, you won't gain much weight, and it's worth it for the end result :) Hmmm so not such a bummer afterall [HS]

I use them and love them!!!! if I had to pick a "negative" it would be that they can sometimes be tender taking off (if you are already on the tender side) But I wouldn't trade them in!

Thanks!! I'm so up in the air myself... (this is coming from someone whose mother made them wait until I was 12 and got straight A's before I could get mine done) but I want to make sure I'm not swinging too far the other way by having them done when she's an infant... (and then have to hear it from the parents).... So as you can tell.. I'm still very undecided!...
