Thanks everyone. Piper is a dream and we are all enjoying her so much. PinkpinkBLUE I'm so excited for you with your DD3 [:-)] my DD2 had twice as much hair as Piper but DD1 only had a thin covering so fingers crossed your DD3 has lots of hair! Having 3 kids for me has been the easiest so far! However I am just so relaxed this time round. I'm not stressing about what I 'should' be doing and just t...

Piper Andi arrived one week early on the 16th of March. She is gorgeous, a mix of her two older sisters. Labour started at 6pm and she was here by 530am the next morning. The first stage of labour was quick compared to my stop start labour last time. The pushing stage was hard, I kept asking the midwives to help me because I felt like she wasn't coming. After an hour they finally got the doctor, w...

Love reading all the cravings [:)] mine at the moment, at 38 weeks with dd3, are Chilli Chilli and more extra spicy Chilli. Has to be fresh and love it in red chicken curry. Also lots of licorice and beetrrot (preferably pickled) but can't stomach the smell of vinegar.

Congrats on your first baby. I don't have much advice on turning a breech baby because I had one and ended up with a Caesar but I was told by the doctor to try going on all fours with bum up, head down. Didn't work for me but worth a try. I think also swimming breast stroke is suppose to open up the pelvis giving room for baby to turn. I swam with my second and she was head down [:)] I can encoura...

I agree with Onefinalshot. We found out with DD1 then wanted the different experience with DD2 so we were team green. Everyone kept telling me they thought it was a boy, I didn't even realize how much I wanted a boy, especially for Dh. Well once she was born it was the magical experience I had hoped for, even more so being a VBAC. However, first thing I did was lift her leg to check gender then a...

Congratulations on your girl PPB. I'm sorry you didn't hear boy, there are many of us here in the same boat........The main reason I was upset was for my DH also. I have semi overcome that by forcing myself to let it go and concentrate on making his life with our daughters the BEST! I can not change that DD3 is not his boy so I have now said to him I'm happy with 3 babies but if he feels the need ...

Hi BB, I had a c-section with dd1 and recovery went fine. I actually had more pain with the vaginal recovery (stinging and very sore coxix) the only reason I opted for a vbac was for the experience after birth. I felt I took along time to connect with DD (however she was also in humidy crib for 3 days and special care for 6) I hated that she was taken after 2 minutes then brought back after recove...
