Hi ladies,
I've got two boys but i always wanted girls. I haven't been on here for a while as I was sure my GD was going to get better and being on this forum could possibly make it worse so I thought it might be best to stay away but it isn't getting better, it's getting worse as my boys get older and i don't know what to do. They are now 6 and 3.
Both my boys look like me but both are exactly...

Hi
I was just wondering if anyone can remember quite a few years ago a few in-gender ladies were experimenting with sticking pins in the end of a condom to sway pink. Does anyone know if it worked? Or did they give up because it took too long to get preggo?
Thanks!

I had my scan at 17 weeks which told me DS2 was on his way so must have spent around 5 months feeling miserable wishing he was a she..... I know I was, and I know it was 5 months by working out the dates but I don't really remember it now and my 2nd little chap is 2 and a half. Maybe your mum is just being honest and she really doesn't remember. When I had that scan it was the worst day of my ...

Ouch! You have certainly taken a bashing saddad. I agree with twizzler, when you hold her you will adore her and it will dampen your GD. You just need to wait a while. I know it's difficult to express exactly how you feel on these forums but you might want to be just a little more sensitive considering the majority of us are women. Plus you are only 25. I had GD after my first son was born but did...

Admittedly I haven't been on these forums for a while and maybe things have changed since last year since I've been on, but I'm wondering why you ask that question? Are you having to witness genderdysphoria as a parent yourself?

Wow that is a great sway! Congrats on your little girl :)

Owww, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to dash your hopes :( Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone you know? I would say sway like mad and go into it expecting a boy but hoping for a girl then you can't be too dissappointed. That's what I'm going to do I think. There is still at least a 49% chance of sucess. If you can't accept an opposite then go HT. Good luck w...

That's exactly what I did for my sway but I had the moon lined up too. I got DS2 as well - darling though he is but I wish he was pink :)

Well the thing is that I'm not sure I could have done more which is why I don't think swaying works really. So many ladies on here have excellent sways and get an opposite & some have mild sways & are sucessful. It averages out too evenly for me to think it works the majority of the time. I think if you go hardcore at it & get all your factors in plus do EGS then it sways a little but not that...

I did abstinence and o+12 but it didn't work for me :( I don't trust a cut off either as there are too many opposites. I think maybe the other sway factors matter more although I'm still thinking most of it just comes down to luck. o+12 does statisically have better results so how about you try TBM o+12 on the first few cycles and if that doesn't work add on a cut off too? Defo go hardcore with th...

Do you think injectables are going too far with IUI? I've read they increases pregnancy by only a few %. I guess it depends on the cost?

I've read that IVF meds are anywhere between $2-5k. If you go down the IUI/MS route with injections for the higher chance of pregnancy do the meds cost a similar amount? I take it you don't take as many injections with iui as you obviously need less follies. Thanks.

Wow!!!! Congratulations for being asked. It's great that another show wants to talk about GD. It's a tricky one. On one hand I think you should definitely do it. You were marvellous on cutting edge and I think you will really be giving all us ladies with GD some much needed publicity to help others understand how we feel...... but on the other hand that show is quite harsh and because it's a debat...

I'm sorry it didn't work for you but I know what you mean about your littlest being your dream - I'm in love too :) I can't get my head around doing EGS. I understand the principles of it but it's the thought of failure that scares me. I've already experienced that once and I don't want to go through it again. The last 23 weeks of my pregnancy were awful. Of course then I didn't realise I was...

In theory it's sound but I cannot find evidence to back it up.

What did you do that you wouldn't do again?
DS2 was a really good sway but I still ended up with an opposite and I am now finding it very difficult to make a decision for next time. I do not believe swaying changes the odds very much but I do think it makes a difference and no matter how small that is, it's got to be worth it - it will have to be EGS though as I'll have to give it everythi...

It's even lower if you don't do the meds. Have a look at this link: http://in-gender.com/cs/forums/t/147789.aspx
I would like to do IUI too but the results are so scary for all that money [:S]

I think I remember reading that if you put back 1 embryo you have a 30% chance of having one baby, 2 a 50% chance of having 1 baby and 3 a 70% chance of having 1 baby but of course you could end up with twins or even triplets which would drive any sane mummy around the bend! [:D]
Good luck with whatever you decide!
