Re: Question on Refund

I have good news too! I sent an original birth certificate along with a clear letter with my request for $550 back as stated per the guarantee. I received my refund check (and birth certificate back) within 10 days of their receipt of my letter and certificate! I think the lawsuit has wised them up and made them realize that they can not afford the bad publicity or customer service. Go...

Re: Disapointment in the quest for a girl!!!

Don't be discouraged - I know it is sooo frustrating. My husband and I also followed Shettles to conceive a girl and I cried for DAYS (with tremendous guilt, I might add) after BGM said "It's a boy". I hung onto my  last threads of hope after finding this sight and seeing some of the wrong results. Sure enough, it was hard for me to believe that there was indeed a girl in there, even after 4 ...

Refund Question for those who've gotten them

Hi Ladies- It's been awhile since I've posted b/c it is SOOO hectic around here! It seems that April and May are the busiest months of the year and having 2 little ones doesn't help any! :-) Anyway, I FINALLY got Bella's birth certificates in the mail and I intend on pursuing the full refund. I emailed Acu-Gen today to find out if there's anything specific I need to do (no word back yet). Those ...

Re: CNN CONTACTED ME YESTERDAY - ATLANTA AREA NEEDED

Hey Girls! I just got off the phone with CNN with an update --- they are going to TX for the interview/shoot b/c they have another story already planned there. She said they have been in touch with 4 women there with similar stories --- she's calling me back to give more details. I don't know if it's 4 people from this forum or not?? Anyway, just happy that they are covering the story!!! I'll g...

Re: CNN CONTACTED ME YESTERDAY - ATLANTA AREA NEEDED

Hey girls!I just talked to her and they are definitely interested in doing the interview this week, if possible, with all of us (including Danielle! YAY!) I just sent her 2 pictures of my family room to see if it would work. The reporter's name is Mona and her email is mona.iskander@turner.com and her phone number is 212-275-8151. Please give her a call or email if you haven't spoken with her yet...

Re: CNN CONTACTED ME YESTERDAY - ATLANTA AREA NEEDED

Thanks so much, girls. I have not heard back yet from CNN and realized that I did not write down the girls' name or number! (DUH!!!) She caught me at kind of a wierd time and I was so excited to hear from her that I flaked out on getting her contact info!Did anyone else take her name and number? If so, please send it to me and I'll reach out to her today to see if we can get this thing scheduled t...

Re: CNN CONTACTED ME YESTERDAY - ATLANTA AREA NEEDED

Great! So glad to hear that she talked to all of you...she asked me if we could host it at our home. We're in Acworth (up 75N). I told her we'd be happy to do that as we have a rather large family room that would accomodate all of us. She suggested it would be better to do it in a home rather than a "sterile" environment. I have to agree... I know GraysMommy is in Atlanta too - and someone named ...

CNN CONTACTED ME YESTERDAY - ATLANTA AREA NEEDED

Hi Ladies- CNN will be posting a message on this board shortly (hopefully this weekend) but wanted to get the word out ASAP (as I promised them I would). A reporter from CNN contacted me yesterday via phone to discuss getting a group of women together at my house next week for a group interview! I was so excited to see that they were serious about investigating it...I don't think you can get be...

Re: Filing in Small Claims will prevent you from joining the Class Action

I totally agree with you, isitnaptime. I think they are complete frauds and are robbing women of not only money, but of their happiness and security in their pregnancies. I also think it's critical that their doors be closed and that there is definitely strength in numbers. I would like to get some more info from the attorneys as to what type of settlement they are trying to achieve - close the d...

Re: Anyone planning on filing in small claims court?

Just an FYI to everyone about this...I emailed the attorneys to find out whether or not filling in small claims court would compromise our participation in the class action lawsuit. Here is the exact email I sent to Elaine Devlin and the response that I got. Hope this is helpful as you try to determine what route to go..   Hi Lisa:  If you filed a small claims case, it would create iss...

Re: Looking for Florida mom's who tried baby gender mentor test

Hi Linda- I live in GA and understand that you might be willing to speak with mothers in "neighboring states" of FL. If you're up for GA, I'd be happy to share my story with you! I have not fought BGM on their incorrect boy "guess" yet but have had 3 ultrasounds giving me 100% assurance that we are having a girl. I specifically decided not to have a retest due to the many ridiculous excuses and, ...

Re: Baby Violet has arrived -- good news and bad news

Melissa- I am so sorry to hear this news as well. Please know that you are in all of our prayers (and that's ALOT of us!!) and that we are here for you when you need us. Good luck and stay strong for your little girl - she is lucky to have such an amazing mom. Love, Lisa

Re: My very sad news

My condolences and prayers go out to you as well. I'm sure AcuGen will not be totally heartless and fight you on this. I wish you and your family love and support during this very difficult time. All the Best, Lisa S

Re: My story continues...

Hi Lori- I am so sorry to hear your story as well. I can't even imagine how frustrated and upset you must be! If I were in your shoes, I would go to an independent u/s place (like a Fetal Fotos) at 16 or 17 weeks and have an gender determination u/s done. They are not as expensive and I would tell the tech the story - I'm sure he/she will be very sympathetic and do all they can to try and give yo...

Re: New to site!

I know it's so hard to hear but DON"T do it!! I wish I never had. It turned out to be wrong for me as well (I have always wanted a girl so it ended up being a "good wrong") but it was SOOO frustrating nonetheless! I thought I'd be on the cutting edge doing this new, cool test that Katie Couric and The Today Show praised but it turns out I just feel like a cheated fool now. I am the most impatient ...

Re: Letter from Sherry

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't BGM publicly admitted to there being some wrong results? I know the number was not high but I'm pretty sure they have admitted to sending out refunds in one of the recent interviews... "The test has been for sale on the market for more than a year and a half and so far no babies have been born that differs from the Baby Gender Mentor prediction."  This is...

Re: Take a look at Danielle's belly pics!

Absolutely ADORABLE!!! What a great idea! I may take a cue from you and copy with my son, Trey. He is just turning 2 years old and very excited about Baby Bella coming (although she is safely in my belly now and no threat to him yet!!) He kisses my belly all the time and tells me that she's "sleeping". I should celebrate his enthusiasm now b/c I have a feeling it will wane a bit when she actually ...

Re: CAN WE START A FACTS ONLY THREAD ?

Hi Maureen & Ladies- I just had my 20 week u/s last week at my doctor (different technician than first 2 at Fetal Fotos) and she was 100% positive our baby is a girl! I am finally comfortable calling her Baby Bella rather than Baby Cooper! Can you please update me on the Facts Only Thread survey? Thanks so much!Lisa

Re: A Picture to make you smile

She is so adorable! Thanks for sharing that. I have another 2D u/s (20 weeks) on Thursday and I hope it's my 3rd one confirming BGM is wrong and that my little one is a girl as well! Fingers crossed!Lisa

Re: Check out my ultrasound!

DEFINITELY looks like a girl to me! I'm no expert but I definitely see 3 white lines...I love how they did "Copy for Baby Gender Mentor" on the picture and clearly labeled all the parts. You're braver than me - I am sooo embarrassed to tell my doctors that I even took this stupid test but I think I will fess up at my 20 week u/s next week. Congrats on your PINK!!!!!!!
