So sorry to hear about what you're going through. Many prayers and thoughts with you, your family and community. <3
One of these days I'm gonna post pics of Kinsley! This is my last week at my current job. I'm taking a Controller position with another local company. Looking forward to the change.

For us, cutting corners has really helped. When I found out I was pregnant with DD4 I freaked. Things were tight with three, but 4?!
Savings really add up. I ordered formula, diapers, wipes, household items, etc. from Amazon. They have a subscribe and save feature. In addition, you can also receive the Amazon mom discount on items such as diapers, wipes and formula. Another item is discounted ...

Hugs!!
I've often heard dreams about baby boys mean there's a blessing coming your way.
I can relate to how you're feeling. Our DD4 was a surprise baby and I had my tubes tied a few months afterwards. It's stressing. I love my girls to bits, but I will always miss my son. DH has agreed to HT if I want it in a few years, but honestly, I don't think I would go through with it. I will always mi...

Just a FYI -- I had my tubes tied in November 2011. Ever since, my periods have been horrendous! They are extremely heavy and unpredictable. Before the tubal, my periods were 3-4 days and I would consider them "mild." Now, they are as long as 14 days and extremely heavy at least half that time with the rest being spotting. There's no middle ground for mine. My options are: untying my tubes (at my ...

I understand where you're coming from. DH is on board for HT one day, the next we need a bigger house, nicer cars, etc. It's just like he gives me a huge boost that it will happen and when I'm at my highest point, he levels it.
I don't have any advice as I'm in the same predicament. Just wanted you to know you're not alone.

I can totally relate. I had my tubes tied in November due to pressure from my DH and family. Like you, I knew I didn't want it, but I went ahead. I felt gutted after the procedure was over. It was the worst feeling ever. DH is about 70% on board for doing IVF/PGD or TR in a couple years, so long as we have the means to do it. Even though we have made progress, I still find myself being bitter...

It's so heartbreaking these babies are living in these circumstances. I wish I could take them all!
I am so glad you posted this. DH and I are contemplating either IVF/PGD or adoption. This little boy looks IDENTICAL to DD3! I sent DH the picture and he thought it was a pic of her and asked why I had her in blue. LOL. Sadly though, we are not in a position to pursue adoption at the moment.

DH and I are looking into doing IVF/PGD, possibly abroad.
What have you ladies encountered for pricing? I am curious about this option as our local IVF clinics are OUTRAGEOUS, but GIVF is way below their quotes for treatment. This isn't anything we are rushing into, but we are considering a TR as well, even though it's not 100% either.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I am so sorry you are feeling this way. I simply cannot imagine what you are going through.

At 16 weeks nothing is definite. We had an elective scan at 16 weeks with DD4. She appeared to be a boy. Then a week or two later, it was undeniable she was all girl. I know the wait is hard, but time will tell soon enough.
FWIW, if DC4 is a girl, it's really not so bad. Our three oldest daughters ADORE DD4. They're mesmerized by her and it's so touching. They've paired off over the last few m...

When DH and I met and got married, we had only discussed having one child. He was going into the military and I was in business school.
Fast forward eight years. We are now the proud parents of four beautiful girls! Each time I was so obsessed with having a boy. If our first had been a boy, I feel 100% certain we would've stopped there. However, that wasn't the case for us. I foolishly got my ...

I can totally relate to this! I've always desperately wanted a DS. However, right now I find myself jealous of pregnant women in general because I can no longer conceive without medical intervention (which was my choice). Several of our friends or someone we know seem to be pregnant right now, nonetheless with a son. It seems so... cruel.

I'm trying to convince DH to go HT since I got a tubal a few months back. I got a big enough loan to cover the costs of doing either a shared risk program or guaranteed delivery coupled with PGD. So far no luck, though. Keeping my fingers crossed!
