Microsort combined with swaying factors?

First, sorry, I am sure this has come up before but I tried a search and couldn't get anything up.  If anyone has a link to my question below pls post it so I can read it.    In a few months time I will be trying something similar to Microsort.  It will involve IUI.  Apparently it is worthwhile adding some of the sway factors, is any one doing Microstort also doing t...

Re: FAKIH IVF CLINIC DUBAI

They are all reasonably close.  Bear in mind that if you went to Fakih clinic (which is the most expensive in Dubai) you would have to travel to Abu Dhabi to have all of the procedures done

Re: FAKIH IVF CLINIC DUBAI

Wow - it's a small world!!!! Have you been to see Dr Awatif at DG&FC? Is there anyone in Dubai or Jordan who can help you with donor eggs?

Re: FAKIH IVF CLINIC DUBAI

I am in JBR right near Marina Mall....! There is also another clinic in Sharjah (don't be put off by the fact they are in Sharjah - he has an excellent rep). It is called Conceive clinic.  I don't think he will do PGD though.  He cliams 85% for his MSU but that figure seems very high (on par with Microsort).  I have a consult with him 1 Nov

Re: FAKIH IVF CLINIC DUBAI

Welshprincess,  I just had an initial consultation with Dr Awatif at Dubai Gyno & Fertility Centre.  This is a UAE government agency that offers PGD and selective swim up for gender purposes.  Dr Awatif is absolutely lovely.  The staff were professional and took us to the lab to explain the procedure.  She has told me that I can have PGD if I want, but she reco...

Re: How much does swaying help with IUI?

Hi Kryfar, To be honest, I don't know too much at this point.  I have an appointment on 31 Aug with one place (not sure if I have already mentioned that I live in the UAE) and then I have another appointment on 1st November.  I am in no hurry as I am still breast feeding and not quite ready to wean my little love. The apt on 1st November sounds particualrly interesting.  He...

Re: Farah Hospital Jordan...who is going and who went?

mommy_of_3_girls Thanks so much for all of the valuable information.  I am sure that many ladies on this board will be delighted. You are very kind, and I totally agree with your recommendation about staying in an apartment, particularly if you will be taking kids with you.

Re: How much does swaying help with IUI?

Do you take meds for ericson? I presume so???? If so, there is no point in swaying your hormones either. Apparently diet is the most important. I am not doing Ericson but something similar.  I will sway everything except timing and hormones

Re: SU/MSU BUDDY GROUP July....

Thank you. I am TCC girl as I have tow boys already (who are my absolute world!). I am Aussie but living in the United Arab Emirates and so PGD is also an option for me here, however it is a bit too invasive for me and I have my reservations about the whole thing.  Each to their own I guess. Anyway, I have found a clinic that do an MSU but no, unfortunately it is not entirely the same as t...

Re: SU/MSU BUDDY GROUP July....

Hi, I would love to join this thread - although I will not be TTC for another 6 months I think.  Also, my situation is a bit different (I think) because I will be going to a clinic to have the MSU.  I live in the Middle East and it is too difficult for me to do EGS at home.  I can not get the equipment and it is too expensive to fedex in from the states. I have my first apt in Nove...

Re: FAKIH IVF CLINIC DUBAI

Yes, they are expensive.  I live in Dubai and looked into him a bit.  Mixed reports and different forums.  You could try Dr Awatif at the Dubai Gyn and Fertility Centre though.  Much cheaper and a good rep

Re: uniqe girl name

I am sorry - I normally just vote and don't comment, but I have to say, I really don't like this name.  It is just not nice - it makes me think "detrimental" so sorry,

Re: Difference b/w Modified Swim Up and Ericsson?

Thank you Tamara,  I appreciate you taking the time to answer the question.  This explains things well.  I am going to do MSU at a clinic in Dubai.  The RE claims 85% success rate for TTC a girl, obviously I am skeptical about this, but I have a good feeling....!

Re: MS IUI combined with other sway factors

Hi yes, Tamara has suggested: ions, pH, minerals, diet, and supplements but not timing, and  not hormones I would love to hear from anyone who has used any of these sway factors while doing IUI

Re: back from Farah Hospital jordan

Sorry to hear that.  Good luck with your plan B - I hope it all works out for you

MS IUI combined with other sway factors

I was just wondering if any ladies who do IUI also do the gender diet, ions, supplements etc.....  Obviously timing and hormones are out - but do you think the other sway factors could help? I live in the U.A.E and MS is not available but they have something else that supposedly has an 85% sort rate for XX (I have yet to fully investigate it though). I was just thinking if I could do anythin...

Re: My mother said the most hateful things this morning

Thats really tough Ruby.  I think it is nearly impossible for people who have not experienced GD first hand to "get it".  You don't need to say much to your mum, just tell her that you love your boys wholeheartedley and that she has NO right to say or suggest otherwise.

Re: Needing encouragment

Sprygal. hugs for you.  I am sorry you feel this way and hope that you feel better very soon.  Often, when we are experiencing a tough time, we look back later down the track and can see why "that" happened.  I am kind of at that point myself.  I am sure, that years from now, you will look back and be SO glad that your 3rd child was the DS that you are going to have. Wishing...

Re: Clomid

Hi onedaymaybe, just a question about your post - what do you mean that you probably would have gone for it if clomid wasn't required for TTC a girl? I thought that clomid would increase the chance of TTC a girl? or am I wrong? [:S]

Re: Second C-Section...Scared.

SF, it is homeopathic medicine that you pop under your tounge.  It tastes sweet like a lolly, lovely.  Fine to take during pregnancy and I believe that it helped a lot with recovery. Good luck!

Re: Second C-Section...Scared.

I have recently had my second.... and it wasn't as bad as the first.  Pain not as bad, I didn't need so many meds and recovery has been great.  Can you get the homeopathic medicine arnica? I swear by it.  I live in Dubai and my mothers support group put me onto it, it made all the difference.
