Im not pregnant with #5, i just had my 5th. He is 2 weeks old now and he was a huge surprise when i found out i was pregnant, i had literally just had a baby! Our new baby was just under 3weeks early so there is only 11month between ds4 & ds5. I do have experience of such a small age gap though as ds2 & ds3 are only 12 & 1/2 month apart ( though they were planned that close together) anyway my po...

First of all, congratulations to the ladies who have had their new babies! Ive been trying to post for a while but the monkeys keep eating my posts so i havent posted much at all throughout my pregnancy. My baby wasnt actually due until may 10th but arrived just under 3 weeks early on april 21st. My beautiful 5th son. He was 6lb 8oz, it took us almost a whole week to find a name both DH & myself a...

Hi, i have all boys and until ds4 i believed the whole different symptoms means different genders. With my oldest 3 ds, i had all typical boy symptoms, and never once had even a hint of morning sickness. When i was pregnant with ds4, i had horrendous morning sickness from 3wks, i hadnt even had a positive test, by 8weeks i'd lost 28lb! The sickness lasted the whole way through the pregnancy and lo...

Hi, ive been on ingender for a while now but im new to the high tech forum. Im currently pregnant with our fifth child and we are considering saving up and going for ivf/pgd in a few years. However, my husband has had a vasectomy as we did think we were done having children. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know if my husband needs to have a reversal before we can go high tech? An...
Yes I agree it sounds like a bit of guess work - I find with nhs scans they're not particularly fussed about telling you gender. Mine was nhs too and I didn't have to sign a waiver... I guess it just depends on pct's.
Would you consider having your 3d scan put forward? I wouldn't be able to wait another 10 weeks either - how frustrating!
Yea i think it does depe...

Jwoww, what a fab picture! My scan was only 2d at 20weeks, so definately couldnt see anything as clear as that - what a little cutie your baby is!
No, she didnt know we had all boys until after she told us the gender, then she asked what we already have. It was a routine NHS scan so the sonographer isnt allowed to say how sure she is even after ive signed a waiver. I know its possible she g...

I had my anatomy U/S at exactly 20wks pregnant, the baby was being very awkward and i was asked to move onto my side and then back, then onto my other side etc so th e sonographer could get all the appropriate measurements, she didnt look for the gender until she had everything she needed, then brought my husband in to see the baby and tell us the gender. She seemed very reluctant to tell us and a...

Just wanted to ssay i know how you are feeling hun, my GD was at its worst with my 3rd DS, but once he was here, i wouldnt change him for all the girls in the world. I have 4 boys now, my GD wasnt anywhere near as bad with ds4 but i had a lot of other more important things going on at the time. Now this baby im carrying, although it would be nice to have a girl as its definately the last bab...

Over here in the UK we just have the blood test at the same time as the NT scan and only have the 16week bloods taken if we dont have the NT scan. Seems like different Doctors/clinics have different ways of doing things. Try not to worry too much hunni [:)]

Hi, do you hapen to know where placenta is sited? As if you have a placenta that is attached to the front of your uterus (anterior u think its called) then it is mor difficult to feel movements, normally you will feel them
later on in the pregnancy and even then if the placenta is still pretty central then it makes it difficult to feel bigger movements later too . I am having ythe same problem as...

Well im currently pregnant with a surprise baby due in may (i just had ds4 in may this year) we dont know what the gender is yet but im expecting it to be another boy after 4 previous sons. So if we do have a girl i'll be very very surprised, though the nub was girly but ds4's nub shot got all girl guesses and hes definately a boy lol
