My list: boppy, nipple shields (for use in the beginning), and cloth diapers for burp rags. That's all I need 99% of the time. I think you should also have a pump and probably some breastmilk storage bags. Occasionally I've used the lanolin cream as well. I think that's about it!

I showed earlier with each pregnancy. #2 (boy) was a lot sooner than #1 (boy), and #3 (girl) was faster than both of them!

Yes, we always picked names before conceiving. I had my girl's name (Megan) picked out since I was a kid. DH had a boy name picked out for years, too. So DS2 was the only difficult one to name.
Side note- my DH's dad has the same names as your family names- his name is Robert Allen. [;)]

Yes, I felt the same way! I have 2 boys, and was told multiple times that #3 was a girl. It wasn't until hearing "it's a girl" at 4 different ultrasounds that I really believed it. Yes, I love it! If I had 2 girls, that would've been my 2nd girl's name. I love how it can be cute for a kid (Katie), I love the nn Kate, and Kathryn just sounds so elegant to me! [:)]

I think she meant that the AAP recommends nothing but breastmilk for the first 6 months- not that you should stop at 6 months!

Mine has always came back while still BFing. With my 1st it came at 6.5 months, with my 2nd it came at 12 months, and with my 3rd it hasn't come back and I'm still BFing (she's 11 months).

I have 2 boys too, then with #3 I got a picture EXACTLY like this at 14 weeks and she's now an 11 month old girl! [:-)] It looks very promising for you!!

If ALL of the identifying info is taken off, I don't see the harm in it. I once posted my brother's baby's nub pic on here to get guesses. It was totally cropped though, so all that was in the pic was the baby. Personally I think that's okay. I'm sorry you were hurt though by your friend doing that. [:(]
