Oh, I definitely had GD with my first. I didn't "get over it" until I met him. Truth be told, I even had a hard time after he was here, but it wasn't really gender disappointment as I had a serious case of post partum depression added on top of healing from a 4th degree tear. I was in a lot of physical pain for a long time. I think if that hadn't have happened, I would have...

Sounds like the author has done some time on IG, herself!
What a great article! Now, why couldn't Elle have done that?
Um... because Elle sucks rotten eggs, that's why![6]

I actually meant the opposite, that you were saying that we didn't need to be all nicey nicey!
The point of my comment is, that I certainly agree that everyone should follow the rules, but, I think if everyone is too nicey, nicey, it becomes boring , (which is what Coochie was implying).
Nope, wasn't implying we need to be "nicey, nicey" and end up boring. "Heated discussion" is one thing. Being rude is another. I'm talki...

www.in-gender.com is a site that was created to help women who are struggling with Gender Disappointment. Gender Disappointment, much like the people who walk this Earth, comes in every shape, size, color, style imaginable. What YOU feel as GD may be the polar opposite of what another defines as their GD. New terms have arisen during the time this site has come into existence.&nb...

Just unlocking this one long enough to say that it will be locked permanently.
I realize IG has "gotten big" and there are "newbies," etc... HOWEVER, this is first and foremost a Gender Disappointment SUPPORT site. I don't give a rat's patoot WHERE a post is started, moved to, whatever. If you can't be supportive of the women who open the pain in their hearts to the women on here look...

[doh] Seriously... this is getting ridiculous. Julietdreams MEANT NO HARM in her post! She plainly labled it for those who are "boy gd'ers."
Tamara - AMEN, SISTER! I soooooo miss the camaraderie. I miss the SUPPORT. I miss the "not having to walk on egg shells" feeling.
I notice that the ones who got offended are new to the site, so maybe take that wit...

I BF Carter to sleep most nights. I also do a Big Fat No-No and BF him to sleep for his big nap by laying down beside him and letting him nurse. (I also do this when he wakes just a little too early in the morning!)

I've always been able to click the thread link in my email and go straight to the thread on IG. Now, when I click it I get nothing but the crying baby! I've noticed it mainly since changing my username... It's very annoying!

Carter Chance has been sleeping on his tummy for a long time! I think we started him @ about 6 weeks. He was already lifting his head and turning it over both ways, so I didn't worry too much about him. But oh what a blessing it was to put him on his tummy! He was really spitty, and going to his tummy really helped. After fessing up to my pedi later that he was on his...

Well, my name wasn't used, but my kid's name WAS. Yes, I KNOW this is a public site, BUT she specifically ASKED people to share their info/story - AND I CHOSE NOT TO! But she chose to screw up the information in my siggy and put my kid's name in her article. How do I feel? PISSED![8o|]

Caleb had to have Rocephin shots in his legs a couple of years ago - he had a staph infection in his FACE! Regular antibiotics just wouldn't get rid of it, and it was our last try before he was admitted to the hospital. Those were some painful shots for him! You have to rub their little legs after they give the shot, and that hurts, too - but it's necessary.
Good luck, An...
