what's the best pain reliever for teething and dosage question

My 20 month old  is getting his molars in. He must be in a lot of pain, won't sleep, get's up crying until I take him downstairs at 4:30am (no matter how late he goes to bed) and stays awake until he goes for a nap around 11pm, grabs his ears, drooling, and top it off, he is really REALLY grouchy.  Anyway, I gave him tylenol but I really want to stay away from that, from what I underst...

Re: Looming Gender Scan... Need Advice!

I agree with putting it in an envelope. This is what I plan to do if I have another baby. I think I would be more relaxed during the exam this way instead of a bundle of nerves. good luck!!

Thanks all!

Does anyone have Mega Blocks (version for 1 year olds)? I have a question.

I bought a bag for ds. I noticed some blocks fit tight together, some fit loose and some fit just right. Strange.  I am just wondering if anyone else finds this problem or if I just got a bad batch.

Re: Baby Legs for Baby Boys?

No. I don't like them. I don't like them for girls or for boys. I just don't think they are cute either. Just my opinion, I know a lot of people like them.

Re: I might be having a miscarriage
.  According to my ovulation, I sould be between 5 weeks 6 days and 6 weeks 1 day.  I'm supposed to go back in one week to see if my dates where off, and that it is actually viable.  If not, he said he'd prescribe a drug (I forget the name) to soften the cervix and help my body miscarry naturally.
Even if the dates are off, I would hold off fr...

Re: It made me sad to think about it (updated)*******************
Have you tried the thread through the needle and dangle it over your belly? I know it sounds iffy because its an old wives tale but its been accurate with everyone that i've known thats tried it. I tried it with my first born and it swung to and from which means boy. My best friend had twins, a boy and a girl and when we tried it on her it swung to and fro and then swi...

Re: I think I got it ALL figured out!LOL!

Whoah! This is good info! So, when you say they eat a big meal in between, what do you mean? In between breakfast and lunch so it would be brunch? *confused* Or do they just do a big lunch?

Re: What's the difference between 2T and 24 months (sizes)
24 months is just a smidge smaller than 2T, at least in the Carter's brand.
thanks for the reply! I just did some research and I read online that there is more room for a diaper in 24 months, and that 2T is for a child that's out of diapers and tops in 2t are slightly longer and wider. Well, that was a mouth full! lol

What's the difference between 2T and 24 months (sizes)

Someone once told me the difference between these two sizes but I forgot what they said. If anyone knows what the difference between 2T and 24 months sizes, that would be great!

Re: Please tell me the truth...negative HPT

I am really sorry to hear this. I am still holding on hope for you though. Maybe it's a little too early or the hpt isn't as sensitive as a blood test.
I only have one boy and he's not even one yet.  He loves his thingy!  It's his best friend in the bath tub!  He will move the bubbles out of the way to play with it in the bathtub.  Ahh, my DH does the same thing so what they hey!
LOLOLOL!!!

Re: Poll: diaper cream or baby powder?
Baby powder is supposed to be bad for their lungs or something I think.
Talc baby powder is bad, not cornstarch baby powder. Ds would scream when I used anything with zinc in it when he had a diaper rash, like destin for example. I did some research and found a lot of people saying that zinc can burn. All the research I did for cases like t...

I had sex the day I had clear cm. I am convinced that's how I conceived my son! Not that this helps, but I figured I would reply anyway.

It looks all boy to me. My guess is boy. [DS]

26 Jul 2010 4:16 PM

For those of you with more than 1 child. Was it harder to go from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 2 children?

I ask this because even though I would like another, sometimes I think "what am I thinking??". I hate the baby stage. The no communicating, the diapers, the taking forever to get ready to go out the house, dragging a baby out is no fun. The crying..ect. I know there are good parts to though. My ds is 19 months and he is pure joy. I love him so much but sometimes I wish I could snap my fingers a...
