I think its great! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look you chose, if I ever get a daughter i would totally copy you. I think the black looks great in it, and it can be very feminine, these days there are so many cute accessories, picture frames, chandeliers, cute fabrics, etc...!!! My mom is one of those that told me I shouldn't use black for a girl, she is old fashioned in that way.. she also doesn't li...

Nobody is doubting doctors concerns for patients, I think everyone knows that Most have only the best intentions, this is just irrelevant to the issue of approving or disapproving of H1N1 vaccination.

well, I completely agree with you, that in an ideal world, we should all vaccinate our healthy children to eradicate or minimize diseases, clearly this has worked in the PAST as in the case of polio. I would love to vaccinate my children against all those things out there like meningitis, measles, etc... unfortunately I cannot trust the pharmaceutical companies and the CDC, its sad but true. ...

I agree with this. if my children, or close family had compromised immune systems, I might consider the shot.

It did not work for me personally, but I always did something similar to what southernbelle said about putting them on the potty several times throughout the day, especially their pooping times, and that worked great, but I keep them in diapers....

I don't fall into this category in any way, I am a stahm, but also fantasize about going to work to escape. I keep going back and forth between wanting a large family or calling it quits with 2 and moving on to the next chapter of being selfish, getting my body in shape, starting a career,... etc.... but then I worry that in 20 years none of that focusing on me will matter, who will care how perf...

Its not that, but what REALLY bothers me is comments she made in an interview saying she feels like he is her son, In her own words "To me, it's not like, because somebody delivered him, that's not my child -- I feel like it is, 100 percent mine" If I was the boys mom, I would want to slap her. that is a big no-no. SHe can be a great part of the child's life, his stepmother, but she is not h...

I agree. I understand your concern about not wanting to be " one of their first" but at the same time if sometimes none of that matters, its also about how comfortable you feel with them, how you click and all, if you are just not comfortable look for someone else! ;-) Do what you feel is right, i hope you find a midwife you are comfortable with

hmmm, did you have to drive int he car from house to house? SInce you said country, thats what i am imagining, beacuse we were out for about an hour and did at least 50-60 houses, although I think it goes quicker since the kids don't really have to knock most times, because most people sit out in their lawn chairs having little parties in the front, it was in the high 70s so hottttt! Many houses w...
