I agree that you're a lucky lady, and 'balls' to those who say other wise!! I too have a fella who is happy to do his share around the house. We have our own business, as cleaning contractors, and we share washing, kiddi care, etc etc, he'll even do the shopping if I write him a list!! I do most of the cooking, but he's happy to do it if I'm busy or I ask.....
He'd pretty much d...

Just FYI: I tested postive with my FIRST baby. They treated me during labor. I tested negative with my second and was never told that I would be treated anyway and I wasn't. I haven't been told that with this one either. My hospital policy is to ONLY treat GBS if you test positive for it.

I had a different outcome with this - I tested + with first pregnancy...

I tested GBS+ with DD1 - so they just assume you're a carrier thereafter....I had IV anti biotics during labour (which was easy because I was induced anyway) - baby was fine - but I did have a bad PPH (and have with all 3 in fact) - I don't know whether it's linked?
I also had pre-eclampsia with that pregnancy - so all in all it was a pretty crappy experience - until she arrived of course [...

I started off at 10 st with DD1 - and had got back to 11st when I fell for DS, then had made it back to 10st when I fell for Lucy - and am currently stuck at 11st 4lbs [:(] &...

I can't remember whether it was my DD1 or my DS who did this, but I do remember the damn baths in the middle of the night! I did the potty training thing at that point, and it seemed to do the trick!
Good luck.....

Just wondering about baby's sleeping habits...... Lucy stays awake most of the day, with naps of between 20-60 mins, and then feeds.
She goes to bed at night between 9pm and 11pm - and doesn't wake until between 8am - 12noon!!!
For example, I put her to bed last night at about 10.15pm and had to wake her at 11.55am so that I could go to work!!!
It's a regular thing for her to sleep 10 un...

We seem to have the opposite with Lucy...We're lucky if we get one poo a day - and she scrams the bloody house down bc she's constipated...changed her milk, which helps (she has breast and formula milk)....Tried infacol and gripe water - driving us crazy, as she clearly gets tummy ache, and there's sod all I can do [:(]

I was taking the mini pill but I just couldn't get myself back into the swing of taking a pill at the same time everyday, plus I just wasn't confident in it's effectiveness. I went for my annual yesterday and told her that I wanted and IUD so I am going back on Tuesday to have one put in. I am certainly not looking forward to the discomfort involved&nbs...

I agree that some can be really thoughtless....I even got accused of preferring my son over my daughter once! I love all 3 of my kids the same, and I find them equally talented in different areas, and equally irritating to the same!!! [:)]
I take most things with a pinch of salt now, and I think I am fair with my kids! I hope so!!!

ok - AF is back....9weeks & 6days PP....is very light, not sure how long it'll last. Still combination feeding, so don't know if that has something to do with it. With DD1, AF came back straight away. With DS it came back at 8 weeks.
