Re: Boys fighting (please help!!!)

[quote user="pugsnkids"]  Hmmm, I don't know if the gender makes a difference, kids fight.  I do daycare and watch 4 sets of pigeon pairs and two sets of B/B sibs.  They all fight equally and sometimes the sisters are the most agressive.  My boys wrestle and fight occasionally, but for the most part are great friends.  My best firend has b/g twins and they are always bea...

First time we have all been out like that since Micah was born. There sit my 2 older boys good as angels, and my DD being an absolute monster. I am taking care ...

Ready To Start The New Chapter In My Life..

I just wanted to say goodbye to all you strong ladies. My tinge of GD is totally over, and my family is now complete. I am so in love with my little MIcah, I could not imagine life any different. I have times where I feel so very guilty that I wanted him to be girl, then he went thru so much when he was born 10 days ago. Knowing your son will have to take male hormones just to really "be" a littl...

Postpardem illness advice?

As I posted earlier, Micah was born Friday, and was in the NICU at a different hospital than he was born at on Saturday. Of course, I immediately checked myself out of the hospital and went with him. I was up at the NICU every 2 hours around the clock with him, so of course I haven't taken care of myself as I wished I had the opportunity to.He came home on Tues., and I went to the OB that day, but...

Micah Donovan is here

My son, Micah was born on Friday at Our local hospital, he seemed to be perfect and well. My water broke at 430pm on Friday. I did around the houseand got the kids to the sitter. I got to the ER about 7pm, and was dialted at 3cm and was 80% effaced. As of about 1am, nothing had changed, so the chose to do the Pitocin, and I got my epi around 4am. It really got things going! The epi was great! When...

Re: What will be worse?

I know its hard, but just try not to think about the gender of her baby at all, and hope it looks like a monkey :)

Re: I only got about 2 hours sleep last night

The doctor recently put me on Ambien, and it has is the first time I have ever used a sleep aid, but it has really helped! I am not groggy in the mornings either.

Re: I should have had a girl.

Not trying to upset you...   Why would you WANT boys to not have privileges? I am so very glad my sons may not have to make less pay, and may be able to get scholarships. But you know what? none of us have any clue how things in the world will be when our ours become of age to worry about college or job security. With the out of control illegal immigration situation, and fortune 500 com...

Re: So DH hit the nail on the head....

You are the parent that makes them brush their teeth, do their homework, take a bath, all the things kids don't like to do. DH is the fun parent that gets to come home and play with them. It is not that they have a penis in common, its just that right now, he is the "fun" one. One day they will appreciate you for the not-so-fun stuff, I promise. My boys and my girl are like this too, so don...

Very OT- Anyone's kid play in Poop?

My 2.5 year old DD has been secretly pooping in her pull up(even though she was making such progress weeks ago) and gets a handful, then comes and shows her her "poop-hands". I get onto her, but she tries to kiss me and call me a "pretty girl" when I try to disipline her. I just got finished cleaning the third set of poop-hands of the day. Yesterday, she smeared it on the big screen TV. I puked j...

I am 32 weeks and have a baby who is a double footling breech. Have you guys seen a breech of this type turn head down this late in the game? I have read of traverse babies turning this late, but haven't read anything on this type doing it. I also have complete previa, we are still hoping it migrates out the way as well:) Thanks so much for your help!

Re: Post your ultrasound gender result here ladies!! (8/26)

This is a support board, Sweets. We support each other through the bad AND the good. Isn't that what a support forum is all about? Or do you just like hearing negetive stuff? You knew when you opened this thread by the title that ladies were having U/s today. Why would you get upset, you knew what this thread was about. Were you hoping they wouldn't get their desired gender, and wanted to revel ...

Re: "Daddy's Girl", "Daddy's Boy", "Momma's Girl", "Momma's Boy"???????

I was always a Grandma's girl..go figure..lol My oldest DS is a Momma's boy I would say my youngest is too. My DD is a Daddy's girl(cause he lets her by with murder) My brother is a "sister's boy" as in he was always closest to me than our mom and dad.

Re: What to do about boys fighting?

Kids are going to fight regardless of gender. My sister and I were 23 months apart, and fought like cats and dogs, all the time. We still get in heated arguements, and just did yesterday. You have 2 or more little people who are forced to be around each other all the time, wether they like the other or not. Of course, there will be fights. My boys fight, my girl hits the boys, its just inevitabl...

Re: Too many!!!

Hello! I had B,B,G and now another B on the way. I don't know how I would have reacted to being preg with another B if I wouldn't have had G in between. I know having a girl was worth it, it is exactly what I always dreamed of. And best of all, it has made me appreciate the boys and all their boyishness all the more. And even though I did feel a smaller amount of GD with this preg,(mostly cause...

Re: GD at Walmart

[quote user="Alexa06"] One can only assume that if someone is working at Walmart as a cashier it must be very difficult to provide for a family of 14 total. That's right, 14. Many people can barely provide for a family of 4, much less, and I will repeat it again, 14 (assuming there are 2 parents involved). I think large families are wonderful. It's very old-fashioned, but nonetheless wonderful f...
