Re: Any ideas?

I second everything here! Some babies naturally eat more than others, so keep that in mind. Try offering both breasts at each feeding but know that its normal and it seems the weight gain is just fine. The dr will have said something if it weren't trust me. You are doing great.

Re: sleep postioners taken off shelves

What? I had put this on my registry too! Boo! They are helpful to get the baby to stay asleep. Grr. Thanks for letting me know.

Re: Bad feeling

I dido ljslady. When I actually heard that friends and people close to me miscarriaged, I was terrified of no HB and then low and behold baby was doing great. So, just take a deep breath and know its normal to feel this way.

Re: Boy or girl?

Yay- can see it. So I totally see what you are saying, and that is confusing to me as well. It looks opposite of my scan which is a winky with two lines on the side. I would say girl except the two balls on the side are confusing me. Do you have another scan planned?

Help! Is Immediate Regression a Sign of Immediate Labor??

I am not totally ready for my next baby to come so I would really like to know...My almost 3 year old daughter has regressed- which is normal. But, before a few days ago, it was just normal. It was once in a while regressing to wanting to be spoon fed, or just throwing a tantrum. The past two days its throwing herself on the floor, not moving, crawling, baby talk, needing to be held all the time,...

Re: Ultrasound was wrong

I am so sorry! I am actually afraid of this myself- they told me they were only 80% sure it was a boy at the 20 week and at a few other appts for US I have had. How can one only be 80% sure? There was something that definitely appeared boy but then it also looked like labia lines too. So I am so freaking confused. I totally thought I was having a girl because the pregnancy was so close to my...

Re: Too Trendy?

Nah I like it. I have always liked the nickname of Cole. And I like the Southern theme. Stick with it!

Re: Interesting thought from DH today

I suggest this- You can always decide not to read it, but if you only have your 20 week US and nothing before the birth, you may not get a choice if you pass it up. So, do that, then if you decide to find out, than you can do that. Also, this helps so you enjoy seeing your baby more in US w/o worrying about whether to find out or not.GL!

Re: Fussy Baby

My son was super gassy and colicy as a baby, screaming at the top of his lungs for hours no matter how much he was soothed, etc. The thing that might help is changing formulas, even go soy if you need to. That is what we had to do to help ease what was going on with my son. I was worried about soy for a boy, but he turned out better than when he was on normal formula. Hope that helps.

Re: Wolfgang Amadous Please vote

[Y]  Wolfgang I am not a big fan of, but it is not common so I like it for that. I actually looked at Amadeus for my unborn son's name- I do like that alot.

Advice Please! BHC strong at 30 weeks.

I am 30ish weeks now! Wow! I am feeling very strong braxton hicks, not enough to take my breathe away but enough for it to be super uncomfortable, more than normal. They definitely are frequent today, even with drinking lots of water. Also, my bladder is all the sudden very weak, so much I have to wear a pad because when I sneeze I leak kind of thing.  This is my 3rd baby. I dont want to...

Re: I feel like I'm the only person who wants to not induce/provoke labor before 40 weeks????

For those that are talking about having medical conditions, or so much stress that it affects the baby (still a medical condition technically), I do feel that makes sense to want the baby out early and that makes sense. I know someone who had pregnancy diabetes- and that makes sense that you want the baby out early and its for the health of you and the baby. Same thing with the other women h...

Re: I feel like I'm the only person who wants to not induce/provoke labor before 40 weeks????

Oh gosh girlie- you are not the only one! Unless medically necessary, I really would not induce even up to 42 weeks.I was so over my due date with my first, got induced 2 times and ended up in C section.Daughter, was over due, she was breech= c section. This one, the OB wants to deliver me at 39 weeks by C section- and looked at 2 of the OB's in the practice and told them, schedule all you wa...

Apetite through the Roof- Tips??

I am 21ish, almost 22 weeks pregnant and my appetite has soared like a rocket in the sky. I feel like I am always hungry.I want to watch my weight, as I have not really lost the baby with with my other two kids, but I am really not wanting to gain too much weight with this baby. Re: feeling really low... long vent, needing support please

I am crying as I am reading this because today I found out I was having a boy too, and I have both already but really wanted a girl because then I would not have to worry about circumcision decisions, how is my very sensitive son going to react, my daughter, you know. I am worried how family dinamics will be. I could make the list go on. Right now I am feeling very similar to you (not the work sit...

Calvin sounds too commerical (Calvin Klein) than Chance sounds like a dog name to me because of Homeward Bound, but I really like Cole.

Re: Skull shape tells gender 92% accurate

Wow!  Very interesting!  I had my 16 wk gender ultrasound and it's looking like a boy but my doc said the head looks like a girl.  I thought he was joking around when he said that!
My doc never said it but definitely my 3rd son looked very girly from the facial/skull views.  He's a little prince with soft fe...
