Congratulations, and hugs. We're here for you. I know you'll love this new baby as much as you do your first two, and before you know it you won't be able to imagine your life without your three adoring kiddos. Go easy on yourself as you adjust to the news, and I hope your DH comes around soon. xoxo

Just remember, Hobbermittens, we're looking at you too. :-) Maybe that helps - it helps me to know that people are looking at my family makeup with longing. I'd be looking at yours with longing too. And to the OP, you have my dream family - all the best to you! For what it's worth, even though I didn't get my "dream," I got something even better. It just takes a while to...

That seems very strange to me- you were certainly far enough along at 18 and 21 weeks for them to get a good look. I bet it's a girl - things get really squished by 36 weeks so the genitals were probably distorted looking. Did the tech show you what she was talking about? Did it look boy to you? Gosh I sure hope you get your girl - what a rollercoaster.

I had this kind of scare too - it was awful. I'm glad you're going in. Let us know how it goes - hoping all is well!

Gosh it's so refreshing to find moms of pigeon pairs who WANT their third to be a boy! Welcome welcome welcome! I sure hope you get another boy - we need more "I want boy" moms in the world!!!!! Please keep us posted, and congrats on your pregnancy. Try to ignore the comments - when you have a pigeon pair, everyone ASSUMES that you don't "care" what your third is. Ha, as IF! I ho...

HI and welcome. Have her take one leg out of her pants and then hold that pant leg to the side while she pees. Then she can squat without the mess. Works like a charm. What a nice dad you are taking her out for walks!

From what I've seen on this board, getting pregnant with ONE baby via high tech, especially MS/IUI, is a miracle and twins, let alone a "litter" are extremely rare. The worry with high tech is getting pregnant at all, certainly not getting a litter, so try not to worry about that too much. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the update, and congrats to Tracy and beautiful family! I was starting to worry that perhaps her husband was involved in the CHP disaster! Send her our congrats on FB, and huge hugs!!

First of all, thank you for reaching out to us and welcome! I'm sorry you didn't get the second daughter you wanted (either did I) but what struck me most about your post was your comment about your dad's death, and how much you cried at his loss. Won't you look forward to that kind of bond with your son, knowing that he - like you - will cry at YOUR loss? What a neat bond you mu...

Hi - First off, congratulations. Your son is one of the most gorgeous children I have ever seen (those eyes!) and I am sure your new little one will be equally as beautiful. Second, hang in there. It gets better, I promise. I, too, wanted GG. I, too, got GBB. And you know what? I wouldn't change it for the world. Yes, it was and still is hard to see the girl things. But somehow t...

Aw, congrats! Try not to worry too much - this will sort itself out over the next few weeks as you get used to the idea. My nextdoor neighbor has triplets and they are extraordinary, brilliant, and perfect. We once talked about reduction because she is a TINY woman, and she said absolutely no way. There's no way she could have chosen to remove one of those babies when she had done IVF and ro...

Hiya everyone,
Just to make it clear, i truly have nothing atall against boys. Not in any way. I simply dont know why i feel so strongly to have girls and i suppose thats why i joined the site. I have no boys in my family. Perhaps its feeling of the unknown. I really dont know, I know its hard to understand, i am merely only looking for support. I know this is hard to s...

What I was told, and it makes sense to me, is that the stimulation does not CAUSE bad eggs, but it does cause your body to release eggs in follicles that it normally would never have released - and those are bad eggs. In other words, IVF stim drugs cause your body to produce follicles with eggs in them that it would never release as part of natural conception times. That's why, even in...

I'd have the tech write it down and seal it in an envelope. Then I'd obsess over it until I couldn't stand it any more. Then I'd tear it open in the privacy of my own home, able to display any emotions necessary without a tech looking at me. Good luck!!!
