Lady A was delivered by c-section Monday afternoon at 1:05pm. Everything with the c/s went very well, but she had to be put on oxygen for a few hours following her birth because she started turning a little blue and had some mucus in her throat/lungs that they were concerned about. She was able to be fairly rapidly weaned off the oxygen and was back in my room a few hours later. ...

My pre-op was done today. I'm currently sporting a lovely bright red hospital bracelet that I have to wear all weekend. *sigh* I am supposed to call tonight to find out what time I go in for the c-section on Monday morning. I hope it is first first thing, but we'll see.
I'm so ready to have a baby in my arms. I pray she is a she and perfectly healthy.

I hope you go soon, I know the waiting around stinks. And I know what you mean about trying to keep everything tidy. I changed the sheets on the beds, did laundry and I've been trying to keep the house fairly clean at any given time. Just in case.

I really do think it is normal. I've been having anxiety over all of that as well. Also the fact that we didn't do genetic screening has me freaked now for some reason. I'm so worried about her not being healthy or having something wrong. I guess it is normal, as I said, but I'm just ready for it to be over and to know (i pray) that she's a she and she is perfectly healthy!

I am so glad we've all made it to April. Well, except for our one lucky lady that already has a lovely baby to coddle!!
I have 17 days to go. Not that I'm counting or anything. Let's hope this month flies by so we call all have our happy, healthy BA's to post.

I think the clock is ticking backwards!
18 days to go for me. I have my pre-ops scheduled, one of which they scheduled smack dab in the middle of my DS' bday party at school, which has me pissed off, but DH will go instead of me, I guess.
Like you girls, I really need a healthy baby in my arms. Now. I am in that freak-out-mode now, hoping and praying the baby is 100% heal...

Castor Oil is a definite no no from everything I've read and researched. It can cause the baby to pass meconium which would be a very bad thing.
Also, you still have a week to go before that baby will be considered 'full' term according to my OB (end of week 37) so give it a little time and let that baby bake and mother nature will do her thing. I promise.
No need to try miserable ol...

For two days now I've had a horrible pain down toward/against my pubic bone. It's mostly on the right side, but I swear it feels like a horse kicked me there or something. It freaking hurts.

My best friend had low fluid when she was pregnant. I remember she used Dr. Google and it freaked her out what she read, but in the end it turned out to be okay and she didn't have to do anything differently or have an early c-section (which she was scheduled to have anyways).
Hopefully that'll be the case here. I'm sure they will keep a close eye on you now, though. Just to be on the safe ...

I made a huge mistake of doing too much today, I think.

I'm doing okay. Counting the days, though. I'm so ready for it to be over.
I've gotten to the point where I cannot eat after lunch. If I do try to eat in the afternoon it all comes back up on me. It's miserable because I'm hungry and want food but I can't eat it or it'll just make an encore performance later in the evening. Blech.
