Hopeful - Congrats on your new boy- I think 2 boys to be best friends is ...

Re: success rates?

Hi Bumble,  Choosing the gender of your child by PGD or microsort is not allowed in the UK and doesnt  look like it will happen in our lifetimes so unless you travel abroad the only thing you can consider is gender swaying :-)) GL

Re: My plan for the next few months...

Have you tried SU? It is very hard at the beginning but it is really worth practising loads and you will get the EW to float- it is just technique. Took me ages and then I mastered it. I tried SD and you can see a big difference with the microscope with SU as the Ys need to swim upwards rather than downwards so SD the seperation was not very good or for me anyhow.  Anyhow good luck with the ...

Re: SU/MSU Buddy Group- February **EGS Stats on page 1**

Congrats Luv. I am sure it is a girl as your sway sounds perfect!!! Well done for keeping it up for so long and you really deserve this :-))) Dont worry about the wine thing- in France and Italy they actually recommend a glass of wine during pregnancy. As for the supps- i think  it is important to take just the folic acid and prenatal vitamin plus the B6 is good for morning sickness but ...

Re: SU/MSU Buddy Group- February **EGS Stats on page 1**

Hi Lola, You could try burning lavendar oil and showering with lavendar gel. It is really relaxing and good for negative ions too :-))) Boots sell all the stuff.

Re: SU/MSU Buddy Group- February **EGS Stats on page 1**

Hi Luv, I see you are in California so it could all depend on the weather at a particular time and place. That is my point. You see when they say Fall and Winter favours boy conceptions and Spring and Summer favours girl conceptions that is very general. But maybe when your mother conceived your sis in Nov it could have been a warm, wet one and the year for your brother it was a cold one. When i c...

Re: SU/MSU Buddy Group- February **EGS Stats on page 1**

Thanks Purpledream. I have an idea of a question for your Mum.( I see you live in Chicago so maybe a similar climate here to us in London- when I was there it poured and poured rain the whole time and that was summer so seems pretty unpredictable!) Ask your Mum what the weather was like the September before your brother was born ie when he was conceived?? You see it could have been cool autumn we...

Re: SU/MSU Buddy Group- February **EGS Stats on page 1**

Thanks Lola, Yes i watched it last night. That beautiful blonde lady with the gorgeous boys with auburn hair is Pinktastic online- i remember she said she was going to be in a documentary last summer so i watched out for it. I started crying when she was told boy- not because of it being a boy but just the disappointment for her. I am lucky i havent experienced GD as I have always dreamed of havin...

Re: SU/MSU Buddy Group- February **EGS Stats on page 1**

Hello, I dont know if anyone remembers me but I studied this website last year around July and attempted EGS SU during Aug and Sep last year. To be honest I found it all very stressful however I was very lucky to conceive second time in Sep and am due mid June. I am not one to obsess and discuss things as it makes me more nervous so for the last few months i have tried to forget about ev...

Signifcance of Higher and Lower Temps. Any experts on charting answer this question please?

I remember reading a post on here awhile back where Tamara said if you watch your temps one month will be higher and another lower- the higher temps were more likely for conception of a girl and the lower ones for a boy. Has anyone actually studied this idea and seen if it works? ie. if you got pregnant with a girl and were temping for several months could you see if the month you got pregnant it...

Re: high pH after bd and cut off...

yes i know it is not 100% but we are not allowed to do high tech in UK! We could go to NY to do it though but for me i think that is a bit extreme as IVF often doesnt work for people too so everything is a bit of a chance. Yes i agree it is a lot of luck too.

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-Sept.2009

Violette,  Does the Dutch Lady expert say that the husband has to be on the diet aswell? Coz I was wondering or rather hoping that maybe hubby could just lower his ph with the cranberry juice and aspartme? I was thinking if this Dutch lady has such a high success rate that maybe i could consult with her from London. How much does she charge and how often would i have to consult her ie trave...

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-Sept.2009

hi violette, i think the theory is the same with frequent bd as abstinence that there will be more x xperm seemingly abstinence is better though. For the diet is to lower Dh ph aswell- you want it to be a 7-7.5.

Re: high pH after bd and cut off...

Hi babydust, Out of interest do you know if anyone has done a poll to see if those having girls had low ph and that those having high ph were having boys? I saw that on the spreadsheet some people that had a boy rather than a girl said their CM was a ph of 4-4.5 so why werent those boys frozen then?

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-Sept.2009

I know i have noticed that people that have one of each act a little bit superior- i wouldnt change my DS2 for all the girls in china! But I think no3 as a girl now that would be something superb! I am lucky for my SIL had 2 girls and she is older than me and done- they were my flower girls at my wedding and i have been able to buy all the pink stuff for them but they said they would like a baby ...

Re: Advice please - feeling a bit low

I find it very stressful and disappointing when it doesnt work out but Purple Dream is right if you really want the DD u cant compromise. I have only donw it once and i am already completly frustrated and my hubby is too. It is such a long process getting everything ready setup and then putting in the incubator for an hour and watching the temp and then checking under the microsope and doing ...

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-Sept.2009

Were you able to differentiate between the X and Y swimmers- it is quite obvious. Maybe your hubby's ph was really good and you had a load of xs that didnt swim up. Another thing which could have caused the problem would be if your EW ph wasn't correct- if it wasnt high enough maybe the Ys werent attracted to go up KWIM or too high it killed them??? Also it could be the type of netting you are usi...
