I had my baby boy at home (planned water birth) at 4:46 this morning.Jack Michael, 6lbs 9oz, 20 inches. I'm so in love with him, he's only 3 hours old and I can't imagine my life without him. I'm off to bed now.

Is Saffron too out there? I want something a little different but nothing unusual or something that she will get picked on for. I don't know the sex of my baby so I need a name for both genders (Jack Michael for a boy) I have 21 nieces & 9 nephews, and the most unusual names are Honey Wren, River Maverick & Strider Hawk. The rest are pretty normal names.

As the youngest of 12, growing up I loved that there was always somebody to play with, always somebody to help and always somebody to offer me advice. As an adult, I now love all the nieces and nephews I have been blessed with. We still see each other at least once a week.

Thank you for the suggestions. My surname is Thornberry, so quite long.I like Jack Michael, very strong sounding and Michael is the masculine form of my name (Michelle)

You look like a girly mum! I can see you with two girls quite close in age followed by a little boy a few years after your girls

Hi, I'm the youngest of the bunch and also the last to have a baby myself. The birth order: [XY][XX][XX][XX][XX][XY][XY][XX][XX][XY][XX][XX]I don't want any more than 4 kids. The biggest family within the family is my sister Julia's kids. She has 5 (girl, boy, girl, girl, girl)

If my baby is a boy, I'm planning on naming him Jack, which I have loved forever and also honours my eldest brother, John. I'm having a hard time finding a middle name for him, though. I like fairly common, normal names. Nothing too OTT. Boys names in my family, and therefore can't be used, are John, William, Matthew, Joseph, Adrian, Dominic, Oliver, Sebastian, Adam, Jeremy, Leo, Levi, Isaac,...
