I've got brown eyes and my hubby has green eyes... somehow DS ended up with blue eyes and his eyes were bright blue at about 2wks! DD's eyes are still slate at 7wks. There are times where they kinda look a little blue and there are times where they look a little green, but I think they still can turn brown, right?

I am a girl. I AM MESSY! I hate cleaning, I hate shopping, and I would love to jump in puddles and I just turned 28!!! Those poor moms who "are so glad they have a daughter" might be in for a surprise if their perfect little world gets turned upside down by a tomboy or a messy girl! BARF--------I hate when people think girls are prim and proper---I'm far from a little miss ...

I am not going back until the end of September.......although I have to admit I do miss work!![:P] I wouldn't call myself a workaholic, but I have to say that I love working outside the home. I miss my coworkers and adult interaction. I thought that might change once I had my little one, but it's just made it stronger. I feel like such a slob with my PJ's on all day until D...

I used to be a lab tech so I know about eye color charts and genes...
Blue eyes are recessive so you need a blue eye gene from each parent to make a blue eyed child, otherwise, just one blue eyed gene won't do it! Brown eyes are dominant, so if you/hubby pass on a blue and a brown gene, the child will have blue eyes. Mixed colors are from "less important" genes and give everybody thei...

I wouldn't take their weight estimate seriously if I were you........at 40 weeks they estimated my daughter at 7 pounds 14 oz. I had her at 41 weeks and she was 6 pounds 10 oz ---- not even close!!

Hello there,
I had alot of "boy" signs. Lower heartrate 140-150 range, almost no morning sickness, moon signs and chinese calendars said boy, and I had a girl.
Take all the signs and symptoms with a grain of salt. They are nothing but myths and urban legends. [2C]

I don't miss being preggo really, I guess I just miss feeling her kick. I do love having my tummy and body back! I am feeling hormonal too though, I think I might have a case of the baby blues. I just burst into tears for no reason. Part of it is because I am so freaking sore down there---3rd degree tears aren't fun!!

Amelia has ABO incapatability jaundice. Her levels were at 15.9 and 3 days later they are at 14.4. They sent us home with a "bili blanket" which she wears all day/night basically. Has your doctor suggested that?

July 1!!!!!!!![lmao]
My once little Junebug turned into July firecracker when she was born at midnight and 39 seconds, becoming the first July baby born at the hospital. She was 6 pounds 10 ounces and was 19 inches long.
She swallowed a bit too soon after birth (and had fluid in her lungs) and had to be in the nursery on oxygen until 7:30 am the next morning so I really didn't get to hold h...

Hi all!
I had my 41 week appt today. The baby looks fine, but my amniotic fluid is starting to get low so they moved my inducement date from July 1 to today---June 29! I am still completely closed, no contractions. My BP has been a wee high 130/90, so it's probably for the best they just get it started.
I go in tonight at 8:00 pm and they will give me something to soften my cervix.&n...

Update for 6/28/10 (Monday)
Nothing is happening yet. I do have an appt tomorrow, June 29 - I will be 41 weeks exactly. I find out when my inducement day is, either June 30 or July 1. I'm just getting over a nasty cold too! I was hoping that would have thrown me into labor---no dice!
I was thinking maybe Annie was having her baby because she usually posts updates pretty q...

God hun, she sounds like a bitch. I'd tell her only if you can discount her reaction which is not going to be positive. She is an evil woman to treat her grandson like that and your GD clearly stems from her attitude. It's not her decision, it's nothing to do with her. You are having a baby boy and that is that. I'd personally not bother telling her. Why give your...

I agree, I think you are so close Annie! [Y] My lazy little one STILL hasn't dropped, and it's 3 days past my due date.
Maybe this weekend you'll be holding him/her!!!

Oh and I wanted to add that Esther/Jerry Hicks and the Abraham books are amazing. I don't think you need to study any other books than that really although there are alot out there. They just happen to have great insights.
My favorite book is "Ask and it is Given"
If you go on YouTube and search you can often find lectures and questions people have posted from their workshops---I hav...

Along with doing alot of the girl swaying items, I used positive visualization to the point where I just believed I could conceive my daughter on the first try. I even had her name picked it out said it all the time. I did it every day for 2 months! The day we TTC'd was sort of unplanned.......we had just gotten married so I was all ready to wait another month. I knew I wa...

I'm still here too, Annie. [:(] 2 cm, that sounds like progress at least! For all I know, I'm probably still closed. I've heard sweeps work really well so I'm confident you will get your labor going real soon![GLC]
Are we the last people in this forum who haven't had their little babe?!?!?!

I pushed for 30 minutes and out came my beautiful baby. She scored a 10 on the Apgar score and was breastfeeding in no time. The hospital staff said labor could not have gone more beautifully and they were all astonished at how well I did with laboring, pushing, breastfeeding etc. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. No poop, no hemorrhoids, no tears and o...
