Their advice is to give babies milk downstairs before bed, then go to bed and sleep, if they wake up just silently pick them up and put them back in bed, dont communicate or make eye contact, and then leave the room. Repeat this as many times as necessary until they are asleep, it will be difficult fir a day or so but u will see results if ...

hi there, im 38 weeks plus 2 days with my 2nd baby and the docs have decided to induce tomorrow due to the baby not growing well. my first son was a natural birth only gas and air which was painful enough anyway, labour lasted 25 hours, and everyone is saying induction is more painful. is it likely to be a shorter birth than my first one? will it be a lot more painful? i know epidural is an o...

I had thispain a bit with DS1 but with this pregnancy, a girl, its started much sooner and it was a lot worse, but i dont know if its because of the short gap between pregnanciesor if its because of the progesterone levels..... either way i hope you get your girl

hi there, i had an ectopic pregnancy with my first, so when i fellpreg second time, naturally i was very worried, and told the midwife so, she said that i would not be given an early scan unless there was a problem but she knew i was very worried so she suggested i fake some 'pains' and light spotting, and i got an early scan and all was well, but i know i would have driven myself crazy had ...

in some places it is protocol not to let the mother know the sex before the 19/20 week mark because there is more room for error, i had a scan at 15+5 and it would have been easy to tell the sex but my hospital has a policy of not telling before 19/20 weeks
