I'm pretty sure that this is what my MW did and honestly when she went in and did it, it felt like a relief because the pain of the contractions went way down and I was very soon pushing the baby out. For my recent birth my lm was head down but facing the side. I had a pitocin induction and the labour was much longer and more painful than my previous two births. During the labour, after my epi wore off the MW had me try a few different positions to help encourage the baby to turn. At some point during the labour the cord ended up wrapped around his neck twice but I'm not sure ...

I get a similar kind of pain when the baby is moving. I'm not sure what he's doing in there but man it hurts so you're definately not alone on this. But when in doubt it's best to check it out lol... so I hope everything is all good tommorow when you see the dr!

Ohhh I'm defiantely over it lol... in fact, I was over it about 20 weeks ago. I keep telling myself as long as he's happy I'm happy so it makes all the miserable parts of this pg liveable. This has been a very difficult pg for me and I'm pretty anxious to get it over with. My blood pressure is up and I'm being monitored for having a leak. I'm going for biophysical u/s every two weeks and my mw has had to transfer my care to an ob which means I won't have the birth that I was hoping for... sigh...
