EDD and other important dates in the February Sandbox!

Flava, were your first births vaginal? If so you can push for a vbac. I had a c-section with #4 but there was no way I was willingly going to have another without good reason. I had a vbac for #5, not as natural as my previous v births but at least I avoided major surgery. Take your time, you have plenty of time to think it through but if you want to avoid another section the healthcare proffesionals have to listen to your arguments and take on board your opinion. xx

Wow HotMaMa!  You're having your u/s done the same day as me!  How'd you get your doc to schedule a u/s so early?

I complain !  I am super paranoid after bleeding through almost my entire pg with DS#2, so to shut me up and ease my mind, I have always been seen between 5-6 weeks.  I have also been able to see the HB that early as well via vaginal u/s, so I am hoping for the same this time.  To top off my paranoya, I am still POAS every day to watch/make sure the line keeps getting darker! 

Part of my problem is I want to feel pg, but I don't.  Besides the slight bloating and occasional light headedness/fiantness and BAD mood swings ~ I feel great.  I know I am still really early.......I keep telling myself to enjoy the way I feel now because it won't be like this for long .  Maybe the reason I feel so good is because I am in the best shape I have been in compared to all my other pg and I am planning on continuing to work out and eat right.  I am sure that makes a difference.  I am hoping to deliver a baby that weighs less than 9 lbs this time ~ although I am not sure that is anything I can control haha.

 I know...............I am crazy! 

LOL... I know what you mean about POAS!  I didn't stop doing that until 17dpo... when I finally ran out of sticks (and I got BFP on 10dpo!)

Soooooooo jealous! I called yesterday to get my appointment moved up, and there was no availability, and I don't have any excuse to be paraoid execpt being a first-timer. I feel great, there has been no weird bleeding or pain, so they basically said sit and chill, lady!

If I didn't have my acupuncturist, I'd go batty.

And yes, I POASd yesterday too, and I'm 6 weeks now! REALLY dark red, so maybe I should just relax.

 monkeys- I had a V birth with DD1 and DD2 only DD3 was a emergency c/s (it was so bad!)  and now the doc is like because My last one was  a c/s my next will be too and hospital policy and bla bla ...

I sure will do some resurche on this because I read something that they can't do things like this.

I am still testing daily !  I bought like 50 of the IC's so I figured I should use them up haha!  Funny, they are supposed to be super sensitive, but it didn't show my BFP until I was 14 DPO!  Now they show up instantly so I use them for daily reassurance.  My Dr. order a beta test yesterday for me.  I was expecting to get my first # today, but the stupid lab tech did the wrong test!  They only tested for serum(?) to confirm that I was in deed pg - duh!  I take a test everyday to confirm that .  So now my Dr. ordered another test and I will test tomorrow and Monday since the lab is closed Sunday, I can not do it today.  Oh well, I am anxious to see my numbers double to ease my mind!

 I just got my date for my first u/s, which is July 17th! Can't wait!

I'm pretty sure I'm due on the 26th Feb.

I'm going to wait until next Monday and phone my GP though.  After that I'll have a ton of appointments to add to the list as I'll need to see my GP, midwife, haematologist, ultrasound office and probably a reflexologist or chiropractor pretty quickly.

I got a call from my Dr.'s office.  She is stuck in the ER still and not going to be able to see any patients today 

So guess my 1st apt and u/s will be tomorrow with the NP @ 10:15am.....will update then.....
