I provide First Trimester Screening testig in the 3rd month and include 100%accurate fetal sex determination by ultrasound.I recently had a case where I saw male external genitalia and told the woman ITS A BOY and its 100% sure...to which she replied BUT I was told by Tell Me Pink Or Blue that ITS A GIRL and it is 98%accurate.It is OBVIOUS that the TMPOB test was 100%wrong !! My concern is that TMPOB is NOT a ''real'' medical test because it does NOT provide any ''real'' medical diagnostic information. It relies on NOT detetcting ANY DNA in the mothers blood and then ''claims'' to provide a 98%accurate result.ANYTHING less than 100% sure is MEANINGLESS because it forces the CLIENT to accept all of the responsibility of a WRONG result, It ALSO does NOT provide any medical information about the unborn baby' health, which The First Trimester Screening test DOES...as it MUST be done by a Licenced MD physician whom is a specialist in ultrasound AND he/she MUST have a CURRENT Certificate of Competence with the FMF UK/USA in order to able to have the maternal blood AND sonogram information accepted by the laboratory that does the complete analysis. Only a Licenced MD can issue a report that is medically reliable. An aditional concern might be that IF the TMPOB ''IS'' correct-calling ITS A GIRL and my ultrasound FASAsm is ALSO 100% SURE ITS A BOY..then this might be an abnormal fetus with SEX REVERSAL SYNDROME ! But this is NOT possible in this case because the DNA test ,IN FACT does NOT detect any DNA ,at all ! One must ask what would happen if TMPOB result said ITS A BOY and the ultrasound showed ITS A GIRL ? That wouold be VERY serious because THAT might be TRUE sex reversal of a condition called Testicular Feminization Syndrome. I published a case of TFS in Nov 1984 in The Lancet. But my case saw female on ultrasound and the RELIABLE male sex was from chromosomes obtained at a genetic amniocentesis. I also have seen several cases where the ACU-GEN Biolabs maternal blood DNA test was the exact opposite of the ultrasound sex....those were before the lab of Dr Wang was shut down by the Attorney General of Massachusetts.
My STRONG reccommendation is that one should ALWAYS correlate the maternal blood DNA with a later on sonogram that can show the external genitalia of the fetus and they should BOTH be THE SAME !!
