So, Liliana Sofia was born at 8.28am 6lbs 9oz on May 7th by c-section and 4 days early! I am so in love with her and can't stop cuddling her and staring at her. I can't quite believe our dream has come true and she is here!
I was booked in for a c-section for May 11th but after weeks of contractions my water broke at 4.30am on May 7th and I knew that it was time to go to the hospital. They had me in pretty quick and she was born at 8.28am and I haven't stopped kissing her since!
We did have a slight hiccup when on our 'first day' home we had to go back to the hospital because her bilirubin levels were too high. They never should have realised us from maternity in the first place, because we had to spend 12 hours waiting in ER to be admitted to the pediatric ward. We finally got admitted at midnight and she had treatment under the lights and she is now doing fine.
Thank you sooooooo much to In-gender and all the girls that helped me on this amazing journey, I am still pinching myself! Such a dream come true, thank you to all!!! Will post a photo when I get a chance.
