Describe your sort. Use this information from Tamara to describe it. The top 5-20% (somewhere in there) of the egg white will be shooting star sperm- these in theory are the super X swimmers. The next layer of EW is the fast strait swimmers. Then that layer that touches EW to semen will be mixed (straight and slow). The semen layer will have slow and circle sperm.

Any other details that you can think of please include. for ttc a boy you are suppose to leave the ic in for 90 min. I did not- I broke this rule (not recommend). I used soy in place of clomid to O.

Pulled the first section (just over .5ml) off. Didn't see anything, so the next .5 came off. Saw some super fast ones there. Stuck that pipette on the lid of my scope container. And then proceeded to suck up quite a bit of the left over EW. Stuck a bit onto the slide (stuck the pipette into the incubator) and saw some fast guys, but not as fast. There were a few slower ones I saw too 
Any other details that you can think of please include.

I did MSU 2 times on O day. Had a perfect sort. I used the thinnest part of the egg white, because the thicker parts were too hard to suck into the syringe right. Warmed the egg white in a shot glass that I put in a dish of hot water. Stirred gently with finger to mix it up while it warmed. No problems with it sinking into the sperm. Used my incubator for the incubation process. It is a R-com 20 by Brinsea. I then did a Baking soda douch, then I inserted EW directly on the cervix (not much, or it will leak) then inserted my sort directly on the cervix. Got pregnant on the first try.

EW had a PH of a 9. Sample was 4 ml with a PH of a nearly 10 and I put 4 ml of EW on top. Sample stayed in for an hour. Took 1,5 ml of until I could spot the straight swimmers. I would say that the most were straight swimmers. Gently put the EW in the IC and put it in place. Went to bed and had a couple of big O's, LOL. Went to sleep after that.

DH gave me 5mls. Layered semen with 4.5 mls of thick EW. Put in incubator at a 45 degree angle for 1 hour with temp staying between 98-100 degrees but mostly at 99. My TT looked mixed because it was mostly the same color. I checked the top and discarded that. I am not clear on what is super X, Y or X I did not know where the EW ended and sperm began so I just took out 3-3.5 mls and put that in the IC. Did not use SW as I had made 2 attempts before with SW and did not get pregnant. BFP first month on Soy and Tribulus Terrestris.

I did not look at my sort under the microscope. I had practiced enough times that I just eyeballed the top 10% and discarded that. Then took the next layer, discarding the semen layer.

Don't forget to add how your sway went (diet, ions, timing etc.) It was a full moon so I didnt worry about ions. We did our attempt within hours of O, so timing worked out well. We had abstained 4.8 days. We did the boy diet, although I was much more strict than DH. We have swayed before and the big addition for us was taking TT. tribulus terrestris (sp?)
It was our first try that we got a boy BFP. We are so thankful to God, because we feel He blessed us with our son.
