nt scan questions

this is all new for me and was doing some reading on it online. i have my first ob appt wednesday(12 week mark) i have been seen by the fertility clinic i was working with till this point. i was going to ask my dr if she could refer me for this testing. i'm going to call my insurance company mon morning,and find out if i have any coverage.  if not, what dose this test run? if someone would not mind sharing. cant find that info of course.

My insurance covered it 100% after my deductable.  It's pretty standard now so I think that it's covered commonly.  If you are already 12 weeks you will have to hurry to get it done.  It's most accurate between 12-13 weeks.  I don't know what the cost is without insurance.  You'd pay for the scan, bloodwork and dr visit.  So combined it may be pricey.  Good luck.
