hehehe ya, it kept showing up under 'my posts' and I  kept thinking I answered that question already.  So I changed it more my sake

 No problem! I've come a long way since I asked that question! Wont know if it all worked til November! Fingers crossed my lime tampon buddies will be joining me soon!

I rang the docs about my bllodtest results and the receptionist said my doc wants to see me but isnt available for over a week!!!!!

Oh petal  i hope its nothing that cant be delt with, my first lot came bac see doc and it was just to tell me my progesterone levels indicated i hadn't O'ed. I was only CD21 though, my second lot of tests all came back fine and yesterday i went back to docs again for them to recheck progesterone as i belived myself to be 7 poss 6dpo, so i can see whther i really O'ed this time, the doc was really negative and said due to the length of my cycle she wouldn't expect anything and there was me thinking i might be in the 2ww, i guess only time will tell!

Mamerp - hope your little bubs is doing good and you too of course!

AFM - well ovulation was confirmed with a level of 7 progesterone on 6DPO, needs to be a little higher, hopefully this mth it will be, I went for my scan yesterday and the lady told me that everything looked normal and that i did have a follicle growing so hopefully it wont be too long before i O!  I am dropping the lime douching this mth and using a vinegar douche instead.

 Petal really hope its your time soon too! Hope the blood test results came back ok and you're on track for a great attempt too. for (pink) bfp's all round!

Pregnancy going grand - third trimester tomorrow! Im SO obsessed with baby's gender though. I think about it constantly! Up to about 20 weeks I really did feel ok with a boy but I have to be honest and say Im SO hoping its a girl. I do try very hard to be realistic though and just picture a boy and in lots of ways of course that would be great - a brother for DS, 2 little men running around and of course I adore my DS so know I will feel the same again. BUT of course a girl would really be the icing on the cake. I did a fairly rubbish sway so I know there is lots I could do next time and I know Im only on baby no2 so it really would be just TOO lucky to have a girl now. I know over the next few years there are a good few friends and family who will have babies and Im afraid my GD has the potential to get a lot worse over time if this baby is a boy. And I have my inlaws to add to it as this is the 5th grandchild with 4 boys already and they are dying for a girl. And I kind of want to be the one that has that girl - probably sounds selfish but it would be nice if it was me who got to have the first girl! 

Sorry feel bad for moaning with all the troubles you are both having with ovulation at the moment, though I know being on this site ye will hopefully understand. 

 Anyway  to you both SO hope you have some good news soon XX 

Hey Mamerp wow the 3rd trimester, thats fab!  I know exactly what you mean about family, friend and grandchildren, when we fall preg it will be their 5th grandchild and i also want to be the first to give them a girl espcially as i have made such an effort and i cant see anyone else doing all this swaying buisness as they dont understand why i am doing it!!  I also have two friends preg right now and i am convinced they will both have girls. 

Petal - how are the cycle going?

AFM I think i am 3dpo but awaiting cross lines on FF hopefully temp will stay elevated tomorrow, feel reluctant to take temp as i know i will be obsessing for a temp dip in a few days for implantation signs! 

Hopefully petal it will be our turn soon

 Oh TLM really hope you are 3dpo! Temp away I say - even if you dont get an implantation dip it doesnt mean no bfp (I didnt get one on this bfp cycle). Will be dying to hear how the next few days go! 

I also have 2 friends pg - one just had her baby - boy, her first was a girl and they are thrilled. My other friend is due in week with first baby and I just know it'll be a girl! I actually havent had anyone close have a girl in ages so will be strange to be shopping for a girl if she has one - Im a bit afraid it will make my gd worse but we'll see. Glad Im not the only one wanting to give the first girl! Oh so hope it happens for us both!

I just had to write on here. Last night I read this whole post and was so excited by all your attempts. Following your BFP mamerpp was better than watching Eastenders! Even though I could see by your signature that you were expecting I still was just waiting for you to test and was so excited for you when you got it!! Now you've got hardly any time to wait and I really wanted to tell you that I have very Pink feelings about your bubba...I don't know why but I'm just sure you're gonna have a girl.

Also I have 3 boys and 1 girl and Chloe was born on 10th November. I have absolutely everything crossed for you and can't wait to find out what you're having...the very best of luck x

Ahh no.5wantingasisforchloe you're so sweet! Thanks for the well wishes! Great you were entertained by it all!!!! It seems likes ages ago since I started this post with all my lime tampon worries!! Have been meaning to ressurect the post to say hi to the girls again. 

Really hope you're right about the pink feeling!!!! Nice to hear it anyway!! HAve to say I've become very obsessed with baby's gender especially in last few weeks!! What really set me off was I had an unexpected quick scan in the dr's office at 28 weeks and got a glimpse of a toilet shot!! Of course I replay it in my head all the time!! I saw no turtle but no 3 lines either. Because I didnt see the lines I was fully sure it was a boy. And did feel a bit dissappointed and very sorry that I suddenly knew. Then I came home and looked at EVERY toilet shot on here! LOL I was like a mad women! And up til then I was dying to find out but very content to wait til birth. 

Anyway managed to convince myself then that it had to be a girl as I saw no turtle. So I was cautious but secretly on a high that I was getting my girl. 5 days later I saw another pic that looked exactly like mine and it was a boy! I have to admit to being very disappointed and ended up having a big weep in bed that night much to the worry of my DH! THough he is very understanding. So from then on I just considered it a boy and started trying to get used to the idea. I was mad at myself for feeling sad about it but I suppose I had convinced myself girl and also EVERYONE is convinced it is a girl (OWT. carrying high, different pregnancy etc) I even bought a gorgeous blue fluffy babygro which is hanging on the cot and that really helped!

The silly thing is whilst I started good as you will have read I didnt do a great sway in the end as at the time I thought I just want to be pg and this wont be my last baby. But when it came to it I really did want a girl .

So anyway (sorry about long post!) 2 days ago after taking a brealk from here for a while I came back on and found another toilet shot that looked even more like what I saw - in fact it is exactly what I saw! And its a girl!!! BUT fortunately a US tech on here had commented on it and said that a shot like that could go either way! And I'm delighted! I'm now back to not knowing which and so a  little hope for girl has returned! I'll still get my surprise at birth and have had the chance to make peace with another boy! 

9 weeks to go and sometime around then I'll finally be able to update the lime tampon saga!!!

 Best of luck for your own swaying!! So much info on here it takes ages to prepare! Its a real rollercoaster ttc and swaying but hopefully all worth it in the end. I'm sure with having one girl already you've a very good chance!! 

Petal and TLM think of you both often and really really hope ye get BFP's soon. My heart goes out to you with all the hard times you've had TTC. Fingers crossed it'll happen soon and be PINK!!

 In case you're interested as I said I saw clear toilet shot with a both legs wide and straight, no turtle and no lines just an oval shape between the legs - just like this one though the oval was maybe a little less pointy towards the top. Tech commented on here saying this could go either way. Of course this isnt my pisture as I didnt get one so I cant read too much into it but it doesnt stop me obsessing!!

I really have gone MAD!!

I sooo hope it is a girl for you and I think you have been so good not to ask at U/S. Can I ask what bubba's heart rate is cos I really believe in this OWT. My daughter's was so different from my 3 boys and was always anywhere between 165 and 180. My MW at the time said it was definitely a girl and cos I thought my husband would only ever have boys (don't ask me why, i just thought I'd only have boys) I didn't believe her. I didn't sway when trying for Chloe but looking back Shettles definitely worked for me and I think I had at least a 4-5 day cut off (supposed boy territory).  Ah thats so nice thanks! Would you believe I have never found out the heart rate! Was dying to know it too but my doctor has only ever checked it and I've heard it but she's never said what it is! Last time she always wrote it down in my file but for some reason only wrote this time that its present and never the number! Am too embarrased to ask in case she knows why!! Keep saying I'll ask this time and then dont do it! Silly really ! Like the idea of the Secret must try that!! Though I'm always too afraid to let myself even dream that this is a DD!  Like you I too think DH will only give me boys - he's from a very boy heavy family but then again Im from a girl heavy one! My Granny had 1  followed by 6 !!! 

Great you know what worked when you had your DD! I'd definitely try that again!!

When i had chloe it was a 1 shot wonder about 5 days before O. We were usng condoms and my DH persuaded me to dtd without condom on just the one day all month so i know i could only have got pg from that one attempt...I was honestly very surprised to be pg at all! I haven't swayed with any of the other 4 and haven't really taken much notice cos i fall pg so easily and never really thought about O etc. I am taking cranberry, magnesium, and calcium supps and dh is taking same plus liquorice root. We will be starting the diet in Oct and ordering crystal light (I live in UK). I have bought Replens but need to see how it affects my ph (which is normally 4.6-4.7). Will take sudafed, baby aspirin in Dec. We are going for a 2-3 day cut off and am undecided on O+12. I am nervous about O+12 cos I am new to trying to predict ovulation. It is my first month properly charting temps and I am using an Ovacue, so we shall see how it goes and I will decide on O+12 if i can pinpoint O! Can't decide on lime douche but think I will do it an hour before and possibly after. Just feel really nervous cos this DC will definitely be our last and SO want to be on team pink. FX for the both of us xx
