Poor you still waiting. So hard having those long cycles. I really think having the faint opks is a good sign - it must be on its way. I definitely have read that some women get these on the days coming up to O. This is a good site that explains everything about opk's

You'll certainly be ready for your attempt when it arrives. It nearly worse than waiting for AF! Too much time to worry over the attempt!  

ok so you have +opk.. this means you may o in 8-48 hours.  Now start watching your cervix and cm.  When you O your cm will be ew (most people not me lol) and your cervix will be really really soft.  Don't worry about hight because that fluctuates with bms.  12 hours after you O your cervix will go from soft to hard and your cm will shift from ewcm to creamy or from creamy to dry.  If you do not have cm you go by your cervix texture. These 2 usually go hand in hand but if they don't go by cm.  You have from now (o+12) to o+20 (8 more hours) to do your attempt.

 I think now I propably did O today but I don't know the time. With EWCM at 6pm it wasn't 12 hours after O at that time but I suppose it doesn't mean I was Oing right at that time either (sorry tmi but I only got the EWCM after a BM) ,

Now once again I have no cm. Plus this time my cervix does feel a little different/harder. Unfortunately I haven't been checking this before this cycle, so am not an expert. Think I'll just have to try another attempt tonight! On the plus side when I tested some of todays ewcm it was 4.5! The lowest yet!

Still no O for me! I just hope i havent missed it! although i have been checking since the 9th so i havent a clue, i even done a cheapo preg test yest to definatly rule that out , surely this cycle wouldnt be longer than last month, i have been on the pill for almost 5 years and stopped taking them november so maybe its that! What opk's do u use? im currently using the ebay cheap ones.

When will you do a preg test? or will you just wait and see if AF arrives? Good luck to you

Can it be regular tap water or need it be distilled water that is mixed with the lime?

 What was the verdict on that?

I think you can use tap water, but distilled is better, it has more minerals. We also found that evian has even more minerals, lots of calcium and magnesium and hardly any potassium. I have also been drinking evian for the last 4 days and in that short time my ph has gone from a 5 to 4.5, cant be bad!

Yes I am officially in the 2WW!! Right now I'm so relieved that my attempt is finally done and I can stop obsessing over it - til next month!  (hopefully not!) Well we BD one last time last night. Hardly know what to call it! Probably bd through O really. But no EWCM on any attempt and low Ph so maybe that will work! 

Am putting all my effort into rooting for your O now!  Really feel for you. Unfortunately when I came off pill to TTC DS I had such annoying cycles - first around 35 then 53, 47 82(!) and then back to a few 35. It was 8 months after coming off pill before I got pg. Don't want to scare you and REALLY hope it won't be like that for you. I wasn't using opks then and really hadn't a clue about ovulating (such a difference this time!!) so I really think if I had been using them it would have been quicker. Got mirena coil after for the ease of it and to avoid the same problems again. 

So just to warn you, you could have awful long cycles but I'm sure you'll still O and get your chance! After waiting for this the 2ww will be no bother to you. And I did plenty of preg tests during that time too! 

Using internet cheap opks - seem ok and SO much cheaper. Am determined at this stage to hold off to see if AF comes. Will see how that goes! I got really sore BBs just a few days after O with DS so am already on the look out for them! I'll be imagining them soon at this rate!

 skanded the Evian is a great find alright! Much handier and can drink it too! I did have some trouble with the ph of it though (meant to say that to you petal - and great it got your ph down so quick! ) The FAQ says ph of lime/distilled water is 2 with equal parts each. I tried loads of different combinations of lime and Evian  but couldn't get a 2, but my phion sticks only go to 4.5 and I couldn't get my universal ones to register anything right at all, even when I knew the ph of something so I don't know whats up with them!  In the end I just did equal parts of each, it was definitely no higher than 4.5, I'm not sure was it low enough to freeze y sperm (probably another way I messed up my attempt!) but it definitely kept my Ph down. 

Maybe someone will figure out the right mix in time for you!

Your cycle was 82 days? no way!!! now you're worrying me! I've read on here somewhere about taking some pill to regulate cycles, i think ill keep testing with the opk's this month then decide what to do, its just soooo annoying!

Keep an eye out for them pregnancy signs, soo exciting! I went to visit my friends newborn boy today, cant wait to have another, (especially a girl)

 Yeah was wondering should I even mention the 82 days!!!! I was SO stressed out over it. I do think the stress made it longer too. Dr took blood tests and my testosterone levels were high so she suspected PCOS. I had ultrasound done which showed all normal. After 82 days cycle she got appointment for me to see specialist but 5 days before it I got my BFP!! That might not have been all the pill's fault. I'm sure it won't happen for you! Keep taking the opk's - just as well you got cheap ones!!  Next thing you know it you'll be joining me in the 2ww!! Cause its my first one I'm all excited but I 'm sure that won't last! 

Have friend and SIL due babies v soon - can't wait to see them! One's a boy and SIL having surprise. I'm so hoping its a girl for her as she has 2 boys already!

Im testing 3 times a day at the mo, think i may buy a opk or monitor which i can use more than once! brought a basal body thermometer today so will start that 2moz!

I also hope your SIL has a girl, gives me hope with my 2 boys too lol

Thats definitely a good sign so! I'd imagine if you weren't affected so badly then it'll propably be similar this time. Any luck with the +opk?? Think you're definitely right to test 3 times a day. I'm going to get a BBT for next cycle of I need to. It would really have helped this time as I would have known when I had O'd. Hope your's is going well.

Still no O, havent got a clue whats going on, unless this is just a super long cycle or i just didnt O this time, getting me down to be honest!

Ive just started the Kelloggs 2 weeks diet challenge lol, so thats keeping me occupied for now!

Hows the 2ww going? when is af due?
