lime tampon buddy group - MAMERPP UPDATE!!!

4 hours after BD last night I used a lime tampon for the first time. Got my tampon ready beforehand then at 4am popped it in. I had soaked the tampon in pure lime juice - no water. Had assumed this was right at the time. 5 mins later I removed it as I suddenly started thinking it was probably meant to be lime and distilled water! Was sure I had destroyed my chances and my VJ!!! 

Couldn't tell for certain from the FAQ but I presume its supposed to be the lime/water mix?

Was on my last attempt before 2 day cut off. Have I killed all the sperm from previous days BDing?! Am hoping it wasn't in long enough to do damage. 

Still have O+12 to try yet thank goodness! Thanks for any opinions

I think its the lime and water mix, doubt u would have destroyed the sperm if u only left it in 5 mins rather that 4 hours!

you did not kill all the sperm.  but did you burn your vj?  if not you are lucky!  next time use the lime/water douche

Oh God I'm so embarrased now!! I was very lucky as I coped it quickly and didn't have any burning! It does actually say in the FAQ use juice of your choice! Guess it was probably just me who took it literaly!  Thanks Tamara - I needed your reassurance!

Fearymay you lime douche after BD, then check ph every 30 mins, keep douching if ph rises up until 4 hours, then u put a lime tampon in for 4 hours

To make a soaked tampon you put juice of choice in a plastic cup and soak the tampon while still in the plastic applicator. Right before inserting take the tampon out so that it isn’t dripping. Then you insert it while still lying down and leave it in..

 As its just called lime tampon everywhere I took it literaly!!  Maybe there is something in the FAQ I missed but I'm fairly sure not.

Oh no petal was sure you would O today. And was sure I wouldn't but I got a +opk at 10.30am this morning! And I had no cm yesterday so there's still hope for you later today or tomorrow. 

Now I'm really nervous about our attempt!!! Am constantly checking to see if the EWCM I have today is changing! 

Sorry slow getting back to you both, I made DH take the laptop away from me last night or I would lose my mind!!

good luck for ur O+12, your cut-offs where perfect timing then, are u gonna count 12 hours from ur first neg opk or just watching cm?

Thanks petal! I'm pleased about the cut offs alright just hoping I can do the next bit right! I'm watching cm like a hawk! Might try another opk later but last time I got a very clear drying up of cm so really hoping its as clear this time and I'll try then. It was very quick after +opk then too but I wasn't testing as much so think it was just that I saw the surge later. 

I'm actually REALLY tempted to just go for it! Its hard to know that you're Oing and then not BD! I'm really hoping that my CM changes later today. I'm working tomorrow in a differnt part of the county so have to be up around 6 so if its not O+12  til then we'll have to BD before 6 (not much fun!) and then it'll be difficult to check my ph when I'll be driving for 2 hours and then sitting in a conference all day!! With a makeshift laboratory in my handbag! 

I'm trying to decide would it be better to BD through O and know I can definitely keep my ph down OR bd tomorrow after O and propably not be able to do much with ph. My ph is always around 4.75 and Dh 7.25.  After BD it gets closer to 5 but doesn't quite hit it. So maybe timing is more important for me this time. I definitely have less EWCM than usual for O day (supplements +diet do this I think) which is good.

We did concieve DS on O day with lots of EWCM so thats worrying.

As you can see my head is all over the place today!! Thanks for listening/reading! Any thoughts???!! Maybe cm will change to O+12 teritory later today and it'll all work out just right!!

I can totally understand what you're going through, what a dilema, i sure hope u O or have O'd before i send this mesg! Not a good thing to have to do at work! lol. If you cant fit the 0+12 in this month I wouldn't worry too much, you had the perfect cut-off, and if you get a BFN then just try again next month, having said that i understand you want to try as much as poss, what with all the pills etc, it is a chore (but a good one).

Well I thought I had!!! Petal I can't believe it.... As you saw had a bit of a dilema yesterday (thanks so much for taking the time to read it and reassure me)  By 7 pm I had NO cm at all! The tiny bit I could find seemed to be creamy but I couldn't be sure. SO I thought I must be at O+12 even though it seemed quick but my cm changed very quickly after last month +opk too so I was happy. We BD last night and I was very happy with my douching, after douche, tampon etc. Was awake half the night with it all. Did really fret during the night that it I was possibly right on O but the no EWCM was reassuring. Finally, exhausted this morning I told myself to let it go! I enjoyed today, thinking I'm in the 2WW! And no matter what my attempt is done.

Then... No cm all day until I get home and about 5 mins ago I went to the bathroom and discovered a TON of EWCM!!!   AAAHHH!

Can't believe it! I was SO sure I had O'd! So now I have no cut off. I do have a chance to do O+12 again BUT I'm in the same position as yesterday as I'm at the comference tomorrow and Thursday!  

So once again I'm praying cm will change to O+12 teritory soon! Though of course if I do get pg this cycle it'll probably be from yesterdays attempt thats now enjoying all that EWCM!

 Hows your cycle???? Really hope you O soon. I'm sure you're tired waiting. But with your long cycles I'm sure you haven't missed it, it'll probably happen any day now! Hopefully you've already done a very successful TBM O+12!!

Hi Mamerpp..... oh no, what  a nightmare, I still dont totally understand it all, I keep going through my notes and this website every day! So you think you ovualted just a while ago? keep an eye out for the cm shift and get bd!! although wont that be around 5am? how long would that make your cut-off now? im sure you'll catch the 0+12, keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

As for me and my very frustrating cycle, i still have NOT ovulated, today is like day 23 and nothing apart from very faint opk's, its driving me insane, i thought this would be another 39 day cycle like last month but its going even longer!!!

Are will allowed wine on this diet??
