DC#1: I think she was conceived July 14th, 2005.  She was born on April 12th, 2006...my water broke 2 days before a full moon...I think that had something to do with it.

DC#2: Was conceived on Dec. 7th, 2006

I've checked my days again and I found out that my first boy was indeed conceived in a 'who knows' phase ... my second boy was conceived on cycle day 21 but not on november 21st but 25th! That means 1 day before full moon ... 

 I think I'm going to keep this in mind when we try to conceive in june ... but what if your cycle is not aligned? I'm very irregular but I think it's also a problem for the regular ones ...

 Could you please post a sort of schedule where you can see what phase is favoring boy/girl? Or where can I read the full study, I'm very interested ... I have always believed in this ... don't know why ... I also know some woman who carry a moonstone ... this stone should help conceiving ... at night yoy lay it at the window, so it can load up, even on cloudy nights ... any thoughts about this one?  

I know we've played with mine yesterday, but I found my bbt chart for ds1.  He was conceived June 4, 1999.  I haven't found the chart for ds2 yet (but I will).  This conception was March 15, 2007. 

How do you get the percentages?  Are you regretting starting this?!

TTC#4:

DS# 3 could have been Feb 19th in theory.  We were "Shettling" for a girl, so we used a cut off.  Unfortunately, my fertility chart for him demised when my last computer died.  If I had a slow temp rise, which I somewaht recall, I could have ovulated earlier, making my cutt off date closer to ovulation than intended.

DS#4 I was on the pill the month prior to conception to regulate my cycles.  I was *barely* charting.  This was an oops baby with an estimated 6 day cutt off.  It could have been a day earlier or later.  I just went back to look and it appears my first high temp was November 10th, could have ovluated and concieved on the 9th, as the spermies were already there, and the temp rise occurs after ovulation. 

 So, what gender does Saturday, April 17th of this year (2 days from now fall)?  Looks like a full moon on my calendar.  I am supposed to ovulate then. 

This month is a girl for me on the Chinese gender chart, so we are going for it, since it have been right with all the others.  Though we are also tbming and using a cut off as well (inlaws visiting)...we figure it is worth the try.  It would be interesting to see how the moon theory lines up with the Chinese calendar (also based on lunar theory).

I also wanted to add that I was breastfeeding when conception 3 and 4 occured.  I had almost weaned when I concieved ds#2.  Breastfeeding can alter fertility as well.

If it matters, ds #1 and ds#2 were concieved in Indiana (EST), so that is one correclation between these two.  DS#3 was concieved in Denver (CMT).  DS#4 back to EST here in CT.

I am on the run right now about to leave to get some school project stuff from the store for DS1...in the 2nd grade!!! A report with VISUAL AIDS...I seriously thought that happened in like the 5th grade.  I am going to answer all your stuff when I get back...BUT I just HAD to go ahead and tell you that IF you guys concieve on April 17th of this year...that day IS the NEW MOON.  The study only had a few women to get pregnant at that time but all that were born were female.  So, I would say in TTC for a girl IF (and I mean IF...cuz I don't know) this theory is right...then you are at the BEST possible place you could be in TTC that day.  Just wanted to say that.  Double check it if you want...but it's DEAD on the New Moon. 

I will answer all these when I get back home in a couple of hours I am STOKED!!!!   Thank you guys SO much for putting this information out here for me!!! I am going to track and chart it and see if we have some trends and validity.  So far...some of it does look valid.  I am excited! 

ANd NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I absolutely DO NOT regret putting this out there.  I LOVE it.  Just sorry that it's going to be a bit before I get back. Look for me later gals!

DS1 fits in perfectly....assuming that you were due when they said...you would have concieved AROUND October 5, 2001.  The full moon for that month and time was October 3rd.  If you have sex with 24 hours of that time and concieved then you have a 95% chance for a boy...so assuming you had sex on the 4th or even a few hours earlier on your estimated date of conception would make this true for you.

Thank you so much for doing this - it's really interesting.  I COULD have conceived DS1 around October 4/5...I went out for a birthday dinner one of those nights, with alcohol.  LOL  My LMP then started Sept 19, so you are probably right on with the conception guess. 

Just so I am understanding this...are girls conceived in the no moon/new moon and heading up to the full, and boys are in the full and heading back down to the no moon?  If so, it looks like July this year is my girl month, and that has me pumped!  LOL

DS#1 and DS#2 have exact same due date : July 17 (2007) and (2004)

conception was sometime October 18-25 (2006) and (2003).

Hope it pans out!

I will try for my DD next and will not even attempt to conceive in October!!! Too many boys in July I think:)

Ok, I'm just on the phone to my sis, she wants to see what you guess her one will be, she's 17 wks pg.  Her EDD 16.09.07, last period 10.12.06, she thinks she bd on 22.12 and 24.12?? What do you think???

 

The New Moon was on the 21st of December.  If she concieved on the December 22nd...odds are for a GIRL. 

If she had her last period on 10/12 and was fairly regular then her due date would have been for a baby in July....not September...is there an error here??? 

Okay, DUH--Sorry!!! So, what I said earlier stands then.  What was she hoping for?  When will she find out if this is right?

 She has a little boy so she'd really love a bundle of pink this time round as it may be her last.  She doesn't have her ultrasound for a couple of weeks yet and she's still not sure whether or not she'll find out the baby's sex, even if she does I'm not sure she's going to tell everyone.  I told her she had to tell me so that I could post it, all in the name of science lol!

 

If you aren't tired of checking people's dates, here is mine. 

My daughter was conceived on either Sept. 30, 2005 or October 1, 2005.   She was born on June 20, 2006.

I'm trying to conceive a boy now.  Are there dates that I should look for?  Where can I find the information you are looking at?

I saw on on Jonas...but I was using the lunarium one..just really easy.  What was your conception date?
