Okay, here's mine:

DS1 - don't know conception date...edd was June 28, 2002.  Actual birthdate June 29, 2002 (and I was induced, then had c-section).

DS2 - conception on January 28 or 29 2003,  edd was October 20, 2003.  Actual birthdate October 16, 2003 (scheduled c-section)

DS3 - conception May 15, 2005.  edd was February 1, 2006.  Actual birthdate January 29, 2006 (membranes stripped on the 27, then went into labour on the 28, then had c-section on the 29)

This is so exciting!!  LOL 

So, is Apri 7th and 8th, full moon or new moon?  I'm fine with 50/50, it is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than be the same as my other two or be in actual new moon, right?

Well, if you are like your history and like me...and following suit...it totally would have been a boy.  So, I don't know toots!! Nothing is ever totally right and we are just really trying to figure out if this works...but that study says that its like 95% + during that time for a boy.  Was for my 3.  I guess we will know more as we go.  THey have studied this in cows and it was supposedly true...but we ain't heffers. 

For whatever it is worth...you know how I feel about things happening for a reason.  This site has an interesting calculator on the side.  But you put in your birth information and this guy Jonas tried to say he could predict gender with a similar moon concept...but he went further and they will give you a "risk" factor for "problems" also.  Now I dont know if that stuff is accurate...but why don't you look at it for this time...might make you feel better to see that the risk factor for June of 04' was really high and it was meant to happen the way it did.

I think I'm twice an opposite:

* first ds was conceived on 21 februari 2002

* second was conceived on 17 februari 2005

I'm very sure I conceived then because I tempatured and knew exactly my ovulation days, the u/s at five and seven weeks confirmed this.

I know that the a woman's cycle is sort or less as long as a moon cycle (28 days), so I think that someone who's regular must have the effect of the moon. Maybe it's like this: woman with an irregular cycle (like me: cycles between 36 and 66 days) do not react to the influence of the moon, so the gender influence of the moon has also no effect on them? Maybe we should try to see if women with an irregular cycle are the ones for whom the theorie doesn't work. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say, it's not easy for me in english.

Any thought on this?

DD#1   EDD 31.08.02  Born 04.09.02  (My period was very irregular and an early ultrasound @ 5wks to give EDD)
DD#2   EDD 08.05.04  Born 08.05.04 (Same as above, had early ultrasound @ 7wks to give EDD)
DD#3   EDD 16.04.06  Born 20.04.06 Conceived 24.07.05

If they're all opposites then I'm doomed to have only girls lol.

Conception 15 June 2005 (I guess... It was CD 13; I usually O around CD 13. Had lots of O-pain that day, but also during the whole preceding week. We also BD 11th, 12th and 14th, but somehow I have the feeling the 15th June was THE day, or if there were some little XX waiting, the XY passed them...)

(BTW, at least the Chinese calendar told it'd be a girl - but boy it was.)

DS1 fits in perfectly....assuming that you were due when they said...you would have concieved AROUND October 5, 2001.  The full moon for that month and time was October 3rd.  If you have sex with 24 hours of that time and concieved then you have a 95% chance for a boy...so assuming you had sex on the 4th or even a few hours earlier on your estimated date of conception would make this true for you.

DS2 looks like he falls into neutral and almost opposite terriitory a few days before the New Moon.  I am still studying this new moon juju though....so will post more on that later.

DS3 was in neutral territory.

April 3rd is the Full Moon so...4th and 5th look pretty full then it starts to transition, they say the full moon raises the alkalinity in your body.  The study doesn't talk as much about how the gender was affected days after the full moon so still studying that.  Going to try to get to the bottom of it.  But, if I were to guess I would say you were closer to boy than girl on this one.  Had it been days later...I would say more girl than boy.

You are not necessarily an opposite...it's how your cycles are lining up.  Both of those times are in the "neutral" category.  Looks like chance or fate had a hand in this probably. I understand exactly what you mean about cycles you are saying maybe we need to look into the possibility that the moon is affecting the regular cycles more than the irregular.  I will read about it today!

For DD 1, the New Moon was on the 26th.  You would have concieved between the 20-29th of Oct.  That puts you right in the range for a girl.

For DD 2, your estimated conception date would be on the 22nd by her birth date...give or take a few days.  According to this study you have a 67.5% chance to have a girl 3 days before the full moon.  The full moon this month was on the 24th...meaning if you concieved on the 21st you are a perfect example of the "girl" ratio.

I would suggest...IF we can prove this right...that you definitely BD the day before the Full Moon, on the Full Moon and MAYBE one day after...still studying that period.

Okee dokie, let me see...

DD1 was born on Sept 4, 2002, right?  SO, that would have put your date of conception (factoring EDD too) around Dec 8-12 of 2001.  So, you were not far before a New Moon...so far I think that puts you in GIRL odds.

DD2 was born on May 8th, 2004, right?  SO, that would have put your date of conception (factoring EDD too) around August 15th, which puts you after the full moon by about 4 days.  That could have gone either way...but I would have thought maybe the alkalinity could have sustained a little odd shifts towards a boy.  Not sure though.  Still studying.

DD3 was concieved on July 24th, 2005.  This put you about 4 days after the full moon.  That would make sense...concieving that 3 day window puts you at 67.5% odds of a girl.  You know....you have to kind of think hard about your results though...since you have very irregular cycles...you have to wonder which way you went on conception date...I mean...could have been a few days in either direction...

If we can prove this theory...then I would totally shoot to conceive during the 24 hours of the full moon with the highest boy odds.  Don't bank on this stuff yet.  I need to really learn more...

Like--I don't know if we are talking about when we BD or when the sperm adn the egg or when the big O happens...it can all be variable.  But what I can say is that so far there is a trend on full moon and boys big time and for girls...definitely a trend for further away.

The Full Moon was on the 22nd a full week later that month in that year.  I would think this was an "either/or" time.  Send me your other dates and lets see.  If there is one true constant I am seeing is that women ARE seeming to concieve with the same of similar moon in the sky with each child.  FREAKY!!!  I can calculate dates all the way back to like 1920...so no biggie!

DD was conceived around 2/6/03 and the new moon was on the first.  This is an area I am still studying.  I would say neutral or leaning towards girl only because it is somewhat close to the New Moon...but I am still learning about this time.

Baby #2 with a conception date of August 24th, 2006 you would be in a similar range but on the New Moon. Are you sure about your conception date?  Concieving on the New Moon with this theory would give you high odds for a girl...but REMEMBER, we are still learning.  Don't take this too much to heart.  Have you had an U/S yet?
