Maternity Leave...............

Just thought I'd ask when those who are currently working, are thinking of leaving? 

I am finishing up this week (although I will get paid til the end of the month).  Not sure how I feel about not working - part of me is very excited and the other part is sad as I will really miss the social aspect of working.  I have a huge list of things I want to do (ie. the Nursery) so I'm sure I will be busy .....

I am due the 26th, and taking off the 17th (or so).  I would like to work longer, but my last two came early so that was close as I could cut it!  I only work part-time though, and go to school part-time (and I'm home with the boys during the day).  I am all done school for this year though!

I don't know how all you workin moms do it...I get pooped out just chasing a 2 year old around all day up and down 2 flights of our stairs (gotta love Kansas and their split level houses) and taking kids to and from school, that's enough to wear me out, I don't know how you guys manage to work and be preggo and be a mom to other kids in the evening.

Well, this is my first baby so I don't have any excuses!  Today is my last day of work. I finish after lunch - woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey good for you!

I'm due on 12 March and my last working day will be 27 Feb.  This way I get full pay for Jan, Feb and then 6 weeks of 90% pay before it goes to SMP (only uk girls will understand what i'm talking about there!!).  I'm working up to really late (will be just ober 38 weeks).  I work full time, so does DH.

Ideally, I would want to go back to 4 days each week and it sounds bad but it depends on when we plan to cycle for high tech to when i go back to work!!! If its next Nov/Dec, then i won't go back til Jan 10 but if its early 2010 then will probably go back after 5-6 months if i can settle the boys down into childcare and i'm well and able to squeeze back into my work suits!!!
