To All the Ladies who got a TBM BFP!

I am 9 weeks pregnant with a TBM baby. I used 5-6 drops  which brought the pH to 5 to 5.5. The volume  was 3 to 3.5 ml on those occaisions. It took me 5 months to conceive using this method. Originally I had been bringing the sample pH to 4 to 4.5 and it took up to 14 drops ( usually 10 ) to get it to this. As it was taking so long I decided to go to a higher pH so needed less lime. Should know within 6 weeks what I am having so will keep you posted. Goodluck.

Hello, these forums are new to me.  I posted a message yesterday looking for some info on the TBM and I found all the info I need.  This is a great site for that.  Last night, after my DH had a hot bath,  I decided to try the TBM.  My DH sample started out with a ph of at least 9.0, is that normal? that maybe explains the boys.  Anyway I ended up adding about 12 drops of lime juice to get a ph of 5.75-6.0.  I hope I am reading the strips correctly. I used a vinegar and water douche prior to injecting the sample.  Is vinegar and water ok to use, because I noticed most use lime and water?  I was on day 20 of my cycle and my fertility monitor had been reading two bars since day 15, so I new I was getting close to O day.  Well this morning my monitor red peak,  I don't feel O yet but I am sure it will be sometime today or tonight, so we will see what happens. I worry I did'nt do the method correctly.

Hi, from memory I used about 5 - 7 drops.  I don't think it's so much the quantity you use, as this doesn't take into consideration sample size or other factors.  The important thing is to test the sample with your pH sticks (after mixing it up a bit!)  to make sure that the pH is down between 4.5 to 5.5.  I tried to get mine down to 5 ish, maybe a bit above as I think it gets pretty hard on the old spermies if it's much under 5.

Morkas, it's not unheard of to have to use 12 drops, your DH might have given you a supersized sample! I wouldn't worry as long as you're testing it.
