12 week ultrasound...any guesses on gender? Charliecat-what are your thoughts?

This is a 12 week ultrasound.  I think the second pic shows the nub, but I am not sure if that is a nub or bone.  The reason being in the picture ontop it looks like the same thing is there but above the middle of the belly.  I also don't know if this is the correct angle of the shot to determine geder, and I don't know if the baby is flat enough.  The baby is sort of curved.  Any guesses would be appreciated!

Are you pretty good about these?  I am going to find out probably in about 5 weeks or sooner. All this nub stuff is new to me.  I have been obsessed with learning all about this ever since the 12 week ultra sound.  I thought I saw a bulge between the babies legs at the ultrasound so convinced myself it was a boy, but after researching and viewing pics now I realize that boys and girls genitals are both outside that early on.  Do you know if you can see the scrotum or anything else that would depict a boy in the pic?  I actually see three white dotes in the bottom pic and have heard that could indicate girl?  Maybe those three white dots are something else of just a coincidence.

I'm definitely not a pro, but I have been obsessing over learning this nub thing for the past two months (and of course mine isn't all that obvious)-- grr!!!  It looks to me like your baby's nub is angleling (sp?) down.  If it is parallel or angles down slightly, it's a girl... if it's angled up 30 degrees or more, it's a boy.  Hope that helps.

At first, I saw a baby boy... But the baby is so curled up that its hard to tell if the nub is flat or angled. The more I look at it, the more I think it's a girl.

So I will say 70% girl - 30% boy. But again, it's just my opinion.

It will be in about 4-5weeks.  I have my 16 week appt. next Friday but I don't get an ultrasound, so I have to wait for my next ultrasound at 20 weeks to find out.  I'm so excited!  I already have a little boy so a girl would be amazing, but then again another boy would be perfect for my son.  Either way I'm looking forward to meeting this little baby!

I'll take a look at your pics to see what I think....

That is a tricky one.  My first thought was girl but then when I zoomed in on the picture I could see what may be the start of a scrotul bump.  I'm excited to know what you find out in a few weeks!

The 2nd pic has the nub. It is one that could go either way, as it is close the "line" for angles, but I will guess boy.

I haev a questions you might be able to answer though.  A girl posted that she thought she saw a sctroal bump when she zoomed in on the pic.  Is it possible to see that already at 12 weeks?  Do you see what she thinks she sees on the pic?

Also, what % do you think it's a boy over girl or was that just a guess since this one can go either way?

YES! I guess its a girl ..to me it looks girly! I hope at 20 weeks you will hear what you want!
