Hi, My pH was quite alkaline 2 b4 I started because I enjoyed a very healthy diet. I hate the restrictions of the girl diet (the things we do 2 try 4 pink!!) I take the Calcium/Magnesium Supps & also their Acidifying Supps. I think it took a 6-8 wks (that was 6 months ago now). I didn't check it that often, except I did also use 2 - 3 times the dose of Cranberry tabs around the crucial dates b4 the 2 months adjustment time was up (I didn't want 2 lose conception time with waiting as I'v just turned 40 & my DH thinks we should make the most of every opportunity to conceive @ our age & take what gender comes!) We hav a precious 16 month old son through IVF as I only hav 1 tube. I'v always had the dream of a mixed family. If nothing happens 4 us then in a few months we wil go back 2 IVF - but I think that wil probably giv us another boy as I cant influence it either way & DH has good sperm count. I'm going 2 continue taking cranberry tabs around Ov time 2 ensure I'm acidic enough. How long hav u been trying 4 pink.

Hi, I'm having alot of trouble with the girl diet. I purchased the diet from the Martine Lafleur website as they have stopped manufacturing the acidic pills at the moment. When I first started with the program in September I checked my PH and it was around 5.5 at first. My DH and I wanted to TTC a girl in December. I decided to buy the pills that are suppose to keep your PH at the current level of acidity. I then didn't really worry about checking it again until December - and lucky I did. My PH was around 7.5 just before the date we were about to TTC. I felt really depressed. I kept thinking that I had wasted all this time doing nothing - I thought my PH was going to be maintained - it wasn't. I went back to the website to purchase the program that changes your PH - the pills. That is when I found out that they were no longer manufacturing them and that they would soon post an alternative on their website. This was the diet. So I have been following the diet, taking cranberry tablets, magnesium and calcium and my PH is staying around 6.5 - 7. In the meantime on the website they are selling off the last of the acidic pills. So I have purchased some in desperation. I then found this website. Over the last two days I have been drinking Tang (someone suggested this as alternative to Crystal Light on a forum post for those people living in Australia). My PH has gone from 7 to 5.5 in that time. I will keep monitoring my PH but I can't beleive the sudden change. I will be TTC a girl in March as long as my PH is alright. I can't seem to get the PH of CM. I've tried many times and the colours do not change. I have also purchased some Aci-jel. I would love to have a girl so I am trying everything I can to sway that way. So our first attempt will hopefully be next month. Are you using the girl dates from this method or are you trying a different method?  swaying for pink

Hi! Thx 4 the tip re Tang, I'll hav a look @ the ingredients (I'm allergic 2 artificial colours, preservatives etc) but sounds good if I can take it. I'v been following the program exactly, dates & all but my fertile window hasn't matched crucial dates. I bought the Timing Kit, then found out I couldn't do it cos I'm breastfeeding our son stil. I then asked if I could do mini pill. They said yes - giv it a try & c. I'v just finished 3 mnths mini pill. Had heavy bleeding nearly all 1st mnth, 2nd mnth seemed on track but after 3rd mnth no af. 41 days now! Took it 4hrs late over crucial dates in case so wouldn't be covered for contraception. 2 Home preg test negative & Dr blood test negative :(  Now I'm back where I started by the looks. I'v got no idea where my cycle is @. Not sure if I should wean son & do normal pil 4 3mnths startn Mar. I desperately want a girl but time is also running out 4 me. Not sure if I should just keep pH low & try wen I'm Ov. Is ur cycle @ the right place or r u doing other dates? I must hav joined just b4 u in Aug as I stil am receiving Girl Package B (Cal/Mag & Acidifying Supps) & didn't know they weren't going 2 b available. Wonderful 2 speak with some1 else in Aus! It otherwise feels like a very lonely journey.

Hi, my fertile period doesn't match the dates either - it is way out. I also have some dates from Cosmitec from Luc De Jaegar some seem around the same dates as the program so thought I might try then. If you still want to buy the acidifying pills they are clearing their stock until they run out. Check website now if you want more. I felt lonely too until I found this website. There is lots of great information and friendly people. swaying for pink

Hi

Just wondering, with the program did u keep all the rules 2 the letter (the diet, supps & only tried on "their dates")? I did the mini pill (only cos I'm breastfeeding & couldn't do normal pill) & it didn't change my cycle. Its quiet unlikely I will conceive naturally as I only have 1 tube & am 40. We got our DS thru IVF & in Australia they won't do gender sorting so I think if we get 2 have another bub, it will b a boy. Just giving it all I've got in case I can conceive a pretty pink 1! I think they do have something with their dates, if only I could conceive. I think they claim 94.7% even when u keep all the rules. Do u think u were 1 of the 5.3%??? Enjoy your girls..... PS They DID fully refund me 4 my last supps when they accidently overcharged me.

hopestreet, yes i followed it completly it was such a pain to i was so hoping for a boy i would believe anything but now i look back how stupid to give me dates on when i could conceive a boy they didnt line up so thats why i had to take the mini pill in the end it lined up and i conceived on the dates she said and yes it was wrong now i think back i left out the most important thing to conceive on the day of ovulation for a boy and not once did she mention that just her silly dates the one thing i do beleive she was correct on was PH levels as mine were very acidic and maybe thats another reason i have 3 girls

i have now got the gen select kit it makes more sence with the supplements and diet and douche to get your ph right i am not charting or using the ovualtion preditors that came with it as i have the ovulation microscope and think that is more reliable and easier im also putting in a couple of tricks i haveread like the chinese gender predicter (dont really beleive in it) position during BD making hubby drink black coffee before BD and because i have a tipped uterus lying on my stomach with pillows under my thighs for half an hour it all may sound stupid but i will try it all and if i dont get a boy i tried everything i could and i guess its just not meant to be!!!

I know what u mean. The program is tough - I've been trying 4 a girl 4 11 months (I've got trouble conceiving, thats not the programs fault, but it is hard going!) Good on u 4 giving it all u have & trying everything u can. I'm naturally alkaline. Thats how I got DS, but totally delilghted with him, would just love pink next time - if I can?!? At the end of the day, we can only do our best & C what happens. I'm getting 2 the stage of thinking I'll just b happy with whatever comes (which will b a boy 4 sure!). I work on getting acidic each month & have supps that help.

The chinese calendar was wrong 4 my DS. I don't know much about the Gen Select Kit, but it sounds good. I take my BBT early each am & use Maybe Baby (Ov Ferning saliva test). Just wondering, do u mean that your uterus tilts forwards & thats why u lay on your stomach with pillows? I have a slight tilt backwards (I think it is) so I often lay on my back with pelvis raised, now I wonder if I'm tilting the right way?? Have recently read that if I am trying 4 a girl that I shouldn't raise the pelvis as the sperm doesn't have enough time in the acidic environment & the boys survive, making it 2 the egg 1st. Do u know if this is true?

i am not sure on what way my uterus is tipped!!! i just heard it in every us i had, i read it in the dr shelltles book so i hope it is right! where did you read not to lay whith your pelvis up? maybe its right becuase ive heard for a boy to lie with your pelvis up!! maybe we could compare notes and do the oppostite since you want a girl and i want a boy lol

when you use your maybe baby for a girl does that mean you start to try as soon as you see the ferns ie little ferns with pebbles? as that means ovulatin is coming and thats when you should try for the girl it doesnt give you quite alot of gender information in the booklet but i do know to conceive the boy its on the day of O which is all ferns

Anyway goodluck and i hope you get your baby girl

I think I read about not elevating your pelvis if trying 4 a girl somewhere on this website only a few days ago - will have 2 go searching again 2 check.

I don't depend on the Maybe Baby 2 much - only use little ferns. I mainly check 4 signs thru my CM, BBT & what day my cycle is at. It seems much easier 2 conceive a boy I think, but then you probably don't think so having 3 girls already - thats mind boggling 2 those of us who haven't achieved pink yet! Wishing you all the best & may you be able 2 add some blue 2 your pink blossoms soon.

Hi

I am new to this forum but have been reading it for a while now.  I have 2 lovely boys who I love with all my heart but I long for a daughter.  It consumes my every thought.  If anyone has figured out how to calculate her dates and times for a girl could you please give them to me or at least tell me how to calculate them myself.   I feel so desperate to grab any information I can.  I'm curious to know how accurate it is.  Please, please help me if you can.

Hi Tulip

Not sure if your message was meant for me (HopeStreet) as you addressed it to wn01aa. I am currently 20 wks pregnant & find out in another wk what gender bub is. I'm HOPING for a girl as I already have a son I love very much. I bought the program I think you are referring to before the last price rise. It is expensive, but I was very keen. I would like to be able to help you, but as a paying member I'm not allowed to - they will prosecute me if they find out. I think the program has merit, altho many people on this website wouldn't agree with me. If you don't want to join the program you can do a lot of research on this website about supplements, acidity/alkalinity & methods others have used. You can also research dates etc (altho some of them are the opposite to the programs). I haven't needed to referred to the program dates for months (altho I know basically when they are), but they are under strict security & not allowed to be shared with anyone in any form.

Its possible with you having 2 sons already that you are inclined to be alkaline, you may need to look at timing &/or your cycle may be in the wrong part of the month.

I wish you a pink bundle of joy in the future - but no method is a guaranteed result, I may be about to experience that myself! However, all babies are precious & a miracle regardless of their gender.

 Happy researching,

HopeStreet.

Hi, I haven't been on this site for a while & just noticed you are expecting a blue bundle of joy in May 09 - CONGRATULATIONS!! You must be sooooo thrilled! I am expecting a bub 4 April 09 & our scan is booked for a wks time - hoping for PINK this time. The trick is my husband doesn't want to know, so I'll have to try to keep it quiet.

Congrats to you all!

I wish I would have seen this thread earlier, I have the refund form.  E-mail me and I will send it back to you.  I will need a regular e-mail address, cause I don't think I can attach a file through IG.  I did post the link to my file.  See if you can open it.  If not, send me youe e-mail address.

P.S.  I did get a refund, in Candian dollars though, so it was actually less than what I paid.
