Cycle cancelled

Hi Girls,

I just wanted to let you all know that my September cycle was cancelled. I ovulated during the BCP and that threw everything off.   Plans are to try again early next year.  I do turn 35 in the spring , but I do get yearly coverage on IVF medications and the coverage restarts next year. RE, and nurse said that based on my Ovarian reserve results it is pefectly safe to wait few months and it will save us thousands of dollars. Next year is not that far away, and a lot of women after 35 have been doing very well  any way, just look at our Deb.  Interestingly enough, after the cycle was cancelled , we found out that DH had a prostate infection and needed antibiotics, and that would have affected his sample for IVF. God sure Knew what was best for us.  I won't be posting much , as laying low keeps me distracted.  I can use this time to excercise, eat even more healthy and really think if high tech is for me. I just wanted to update every one, and please say a prayer for me if you remember that another healthy children (possibly another DD) are in my future.

 you have such a great attitude about this. ya know, i think delayed cycles are always successful.  i have no scientific proof, but i swear by it!

I ovulated on the BCP too and my cycle was delayed because of it and it was my BFP cycle!!   Not to mention, I am 37.

I did that and it worked! I cut out all the simple carbs in my diet, sugar, white bread, ate lots of protein to hopefully minimize the risk of OHSS and I had an awesome cycle, finally. They added ganirelex so I wouldn't ovulate this time, too.

Thanks  a lot girls.  I am thinking about asking thwe doctor about the Antagon protocol , I just have this gut feeling that it might help me next time around.  I was not making many eggs this time, (because I ovulated on BCP), but I really have this feeling that it might help. I know that I am not a doctor and that doctors know better than me, but I would like to ask the doctor if he is willing to consider it for me. Do you think that it may  sound arrogant to ask a doctor to consider a certain protocol?  I just want to ask, but if he really thinks that it is wrong for me, I won't insist. but I would like to be more pro-active this time around. Did any f you girls whose cycle were previusly cancelled have better luck with antagon protocls?

I'm so sorry about your canceled cycle.  It apears that the running trend on IG is that you will be successful on your next go :)  Wishing you the best.
