Thanks so much for remembering Alyssa. And thank you for your wishes. Yes, it IS tomorrow, 12:30 NYC time. I will definitely let you know. I am trying to prepare myself all day to hear boy tomorrow. Of course, small part of me still daydreams about hearing girl. But, I am pretty sure the TMPOB was right. I mean, if it was wrong for everyone, wouldn't they go out of business? I am nervous about tomorrow because I know that of they are able to tell me, the answer will be final. No more wondering or hoping. I am also very nervous to find out how the baby is doing and if he/she is healthy. I feel like I have given it so much bad energy over the last few weeks (with me being so upset and overwrought by the TMPOB results), that I feel very guilty right now and I am scared to death of hearing that it has died or something. So I'm just all around nervous. Will let you know... xo

Yes,  I remember feeling exactly like that.    What sucks about TMPOB is they don't go out of business, because they aren't wrong all the time, because they get lucky, not because they are actually testing correctly. KWIM?  It's hard to know the final answer but it lets you move on.

I really hope you hear girl though.  I'll be thinking about you all day!

NO NO NO MEL, Please don't don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   It doesnt' matter the results they give you, you can't trust them and will be broken either way.  You will regret it.  Don't waste your time and money!

Please don't do it!  I did it with DS#2, and they were right when they said Boy, but I would never do it again knowing what I know now from the ladies on here.  I was heartbroken when I found out Boy, looking back, I would have been better off not wasting mu money and enjoying my PG a little longer rather than obsessing over gender.

I know, I know. You're so right. I will wait for the scan, but it's just such a long wait! There is a place over here that does a gender scan from 16wks, would you say that would be accurate at that stage or too early to tell?

If they have a good reputation, I would say go for it!  In fact, when I do get PG again, this is exactly what I hope to do!  If you have a cooperative baby and a good tech, the gender is definitely there at 16 weeks.

Sorry it's taken so long.... I had the scan at 12:30 and then went straight to my therapist at 2:00 pm. I could not bear to come home. I had been crying for almost two hours straight. It is a boy. I just came home now in time to feed my son, give him his bath and put him to bed. I am so devastated right now. have hardly eaten all day. a granola bar and a clementine for lunch.... at least the baby is healthy. i know that's the most important but how can it take away the pain and disappointment i feel? the two are not mutually exclusive. totally separate issues. God give me strength to make it through this pregnancy. i don't know how i will do it. don't know if i even have the strength to try for a third. i can't go through this again. i don't even know if i have the strength to do the Microsort thing... any words of advice? this poor baby inside of me deserves to be loved but i just don't think i can love him. i just can't....

I know how you feel and didn't know how I could possible love 2 boys, but my world would crumble without them now.  Take it one day at a time, each will be a little better than the last.  Glad your little bean is healthy ~ hand in there!

Country Belle- Hot Mama and Alyssa are right. Don't do the TMPOB. it's just not worth it. it messes with your head either way because you don't know what to believe because they have given several people (like Alyssa) the wrong results. and then you'll just sit there, wondering for weeks, like me, and be anxious. i know i've had terrible trouble sleeping over the last 3 weeks. wait for the scan. the old fashioned way is the best and most trusted way. at 16 weeks, they should indeed be able to tell if the tech is good and position of the baby is good. i found out my first was a boy at 16 weeks. i'm so down right now and my son i think has picked up on it because he's trying to entertain me and keeps bringing me things and smiling at me. he's also trying to feed me his dinner.
