I read something on another website selling hairclips (without magnets) that said that magnets weren't healthy to have in hairclips. But I'm not sure why... Any thoughts? How would a magnet be harmful on a head? (FTR, I have some with magnets that I use, too!)

Eden Joined 02-04-2007 Posts 12,114	09-21-2008 1:02 PM Eden Those are really cute!!! The only reason that i can think of why the magnets would not be safe as a hairbow would be if your child takes it off and ingests it. That is VERY dangerous. Other than that i'm not sure why

My DD had a pretty white one in her hair and we lost it somewhere. So much for it staying put. And it cost $8.50! I think that is kind of expensive for a bow. I even made my DH retrace our steps so we could find it, but we didn't.

after reading that about magnets hopefully your DD didn't eat the bow! LOL i'm kidding, it probably fell off somewhere, i've never tried bows with magnets but might give it a shot with our next baby if it ends up a girl.
