So I called FCI in Chicago and the lady was supper nice but then called back and said they don't do IVF for gender only but I am sure I have heard of others on this site that have used them for Gender only RIGHT???????   She said I should do sperm spinning!  I told her I wanted a 100% this time and I wouldn't do the spinning.  Oh this process is so stressful I give everyone so much credit for going through all this and not be crazy! 

I don't know what to tell you.  Just wanted to let you know that both Dr. Morris http://www.ivf1.com and DR. Charles Miller in Naperville will do gender selection.  Both are in the Chicago area.

Schedule a  consult with Dr Kaplan and he does IVF/PGD which will include gender.  I did.  They are great!!!  I think you just need to say you want the consult and when the Dr asks you tell him what you want to do.  We did a 9 probe PGD as well, which included gender.  The offices for FCI and the staff are absolutely wonderful!!!!

I don't know about that clinic but a word of advice- don't go with a clinic that is not eager to do gender selection.  I chose one that agreed to do it but was not thrilled.  The staff was rude to me and made rude remarks every time I went in, "You are so lucky to have children", "Most our patients can't be picky" etc. etc. 

Good Luck!  The process is not as bad as it seems once you get the ball rolling....

So they called back again and made the appt with a different Dr. and they were really nice.  So I guess I will just have to wait and see how the consult goes. 

twoboys4now- That is horrible treatment by that clinic.  How rude!  I am glad you said this process isn't as bad once you get started because this process is not fun. 

At that clinic no one judged me or said anything.  They were just as nice and professional and the staff was just great.  They didn't care why I was doing IVF and the DR was just great!!
