You will probably think I'm crazy asking this now!!

I did post at the time and kind of put it to the back of my mind but with 10 days until delivery I keep coming back to it!!

Maybe its all in my head but at my 19 wk scan I told tech I didn't want to know gender. So I never once saw a traditional toilet shot like I see on here.

But while she was going up the legs with a view from above (like an aerial view) when she got to the top of the legs I saw something there. It wasn't between the legs as the babies legs were quite close together (i think she was checking bones) more like on top of lower tummy. It was like a circle with a white line down the middle. I've convinced myself this was a penis (scrotum with penis down the middle) but then would I see gender from that angle and on top of body not between legs????????????????????????

Then when she measured femur the baby was spread eagled from front with 1 leg straight out and the other bent up so you could clearly see foot (bones and all ) right between legs - there was nothing on top then or anything else between legs!!

So you probably think I'm crazy, right, But these images are driving me mad and I just wanted some advice or reassurance.

I guess its because I didn't find out and am so close to giving birth that the anxiety is creeping in.

But is it possible anyone to see 'bits' on top of body with legs nearly closed?

That sounds silly to write but am going crazy. Maybe its a sign labour is imminent....

 My tech gave us our boy shot from above:

 It was done at 19wk - you can look at it and there's one other one in the album like that.  Is that like what you're talking about?

We have a video of our scan too and there are "toilet shots" on the video, but the printed pics are from above and you can see the scrotum and penis pretty well in them (though DH is still skeptical) :p

I can see how that was taken. Right from above with legs bent up and the penis sticking up in between?

But no it didn't look like that!! It was taken from above but she was following the thigh bones up body. There was nothing like that sticking up. It was further up tummy!! And looked flat ,like a comedy or etch a sketch drawing of penis

Honestly I think if thats where the boy parts would be on your photo then this can't have been as i'm sure it was much much higher, not between legs at all!!

 I just think I like to send myself crazy.

Sounds like the abdomen/circle shot might have been the cord! HANG IN THERE! I definately think it is still 50/50 at this point!!! You can have my extra pink dust!!!

Yep, that's how he was - knees bent and penis and scrotum right in between - I agree with the other ladies that if it was higher up you might have seen the cord! Could be your babe has a kink in the cord or a knot that made it look like a scrotum. 

You can sort of see the cord in one of those boy shots that I posted and it's up higher at belly button level.  His "goods" are def right between the legs!

So I'd say you either saw a cord, or you have a little man in there that's REALLY well endowed
