We must be due around the same time...I am due July 25th. I have two girls. We also attempted the "shettles" method trying for a boy. I took the TMPOB test at exactly 8 weeks and it came back girl. We would really love to have a boy.

wow thats amazing! same situation and same due date! r u having an ultrasound soon? let me know the result if u do.i dont think the  TMPOB test is anywhere near 99% accurate i have read about so many incorrect results ,what an emotional rollercoaster for those mums.im not sure how good our shettles attempt was we BD 24 hrs after my first +ve opk but i got two +ves and have been having only one for the past 6 months i got a -ve opk next morning at 11am.hope we didnt BD too early,i had EWCM the whole day.how did u pinpoint ur ovulation and when did u BD? nice to know someone knows what it feels like to be in this situation.

I had the two most uneventful pregnancies with my girls. No sickness at all, a little tired in the first trimester, indigestion with both (more with my second and she came out looking like Pocahontas with all of her hair...might be some truth to that wives'  tail??). This pregnancy has been completely different. I feel terrible when I haven't eaten and then terrible after I eat. This happens in the evening, starting around 2:00pm. I actually feel best in the a.m.. Headaches everyday in the first trimester. I occasionally will still get one, but they have tapered off. Everything is so different that it would almost seem obvious that I am having a boy, but that is precisely why I am convinced that I am having another girl. It can't be that clear cut...or can it? I wish I was having my ultrasound in Feb., lucky you!!! Good luck! How is your pregnancy compared to the others?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!ur pregnancy sounds identical to mine! my first 2 pregnancies were quite easy had just a little bit of nausea first trimester but really energetic after that.this one im constantly getting headaches(which ive never had in my life)i also felt really sick before and after i ate (but this is getting much less now approaching week 16)and also used to start around lunch time.im still feeling quite tired ,craving salty foods othr 2 i craved sweet.we must be having the same sex if we go by our symptoms but then u hear about all those old wives tales and how they say there is no sure way of knowing the sex except by ultrasound. one thing that really makes me doubt my TMPOB test result is the dreams im having.they have ALL been about boys. with my other 2 pregnancies i dreamt of only girls, i dont know but they say there is something to dreams.the other thing is on my 12 week ultrasound i asked the sonographer about the sex,she said it was too early to tell but she took a pic between babies legs and from what i could tell it looks like there is something sticking out in between, showed my dctr and she said it looked like a boy but it is too early to be sure.so im holding on to some hope .maybe wishful thinking?????i probably will end up dissapointed. what do u think is it too early to tell at 12 weeks? have u had a 12 week ultrasound? have u been craving anything?? thanx for listening to me ramble on...............................

I have wanted all spicy food. I haven't had any dreams about my baby, but other people have. Go figure. My husband was right about the first two. I swore I was having a boy with my second b/c of the way I carried her , but he kept saying that he thought it was a girl. With this one, he is saying boy. I have several friends that work in NICU and they say it is too early to find out the gender at 12 weeks, but that with a level 2 ultrasound, you can tell if it is a boy at 14 weeks. I had an ultrsound at 13 weeks and my tech said it was too early to tell.

Sending you blue dust as well! I look forward to hearing your results. Will you ask for a refund if the results are wrong? I read a post not too long ago from "Ang" and she took a TMPOB test and it came back "girl", her ultrasound said boy. I wrote her back to see how many weeks she was when she took the test and haven't heard back. I bet it is more accurate the further along you are. What do you think?

Fun!! I am having my ultrasound on the 27th. It is so weird. Everytime I think about having the ultrasound, my heart starts to race as if I am going to be taking a final exam or something! It's like the pressure is on to have "that boy". Do you feel that way? How old are your girls? Anyway, sending you lots of luck. Did you take the TMPOB test?

hi, definitely will get a refund if results are wrong but i will be more angry about all the emotions  ive been thru.lets hope they r wrong.im glad they got someone elses 'girl' result wrong that makes me really hopeful for both of us!how recent was this result and where did u read it?i think the test results are more likely to be wrong when taken early because the male hormone level is still low,i actually read this on the TMPOBweb site a while ago but now they have removed this info from their site.i know how u feel when u say u feel nervous when u think about the ultrasound,i feel exactly the same,,im so scared i will be told 'its a girl' deep down i think that is what will happen.lets hope at least one of us gets a boy and i will feel some happiness at least........................SAILORS WIFE i hope u also get ur boy and cant wait till u get ur ultrasound result pls let us know.did u sway for a boy?

If you go on the Prenatal DNA forum and do a search for "Ang", it will bring up what she wrote and someone responding to her. Ang never responded back to me when I asked how many weeks she was when she took the test. That would be interesting to know.

I feel the EXACT same way!!!! My husband and 2 girls are going with me and I almost don't want them to come because I don't want t break down in front of them, haha! I am so excited for the ultrasound but then so scared. My husband, poor man, hears me say everyday either I want the ultrasound or I don't. In the end, I know I HAVE to know! I did not take the test, literally because time has gone by so fast I forgot all about it. This was our surprise baby. I was so hoping to try the shettles method as well with the diet, but this one decided to come early.

I am hoping you get your little boy too! Let me know about the results, I am on pins and needles for ya!!!

My girls are 4 and 2. (Well my younger one turns 2 February 16th.)
