diaper changes

 ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

We have a change table upstair but i'm too lazy to run up and down the stairs during the day to constantly change dd and ds3. 

So i change them on the floor when i'm downstairs. I arm myself with toys to keep dd busy. i sing to her and try to distract her. She still tries to roll over and crawl away at least 100 times during a diaper change.  and it is driving me crazy. I can't even wipe her butt or get the diaper straight or even put on one side of velcro before she is on the move. My fear is that it will last till she is 2 or toilet trained

This is bloody insane.

Anyone else have a squirmy baby?? 

Do I ever!  I give dd lots of toys, too, but she just throws them.  I can't put a straight diaper on that kid to save my life.  But I think I could place in a fastest-diaper-change competition, because that has become my strategy for getting one on her (even if it is crooked)!

Yup.  Kate is queen of back arching, twisting, and then crawling away.  She's lucky that little butt of hers is so cute!  When she gets mad, she blows razz-berries at me.

Yep, it's a total disaster here too.  He even sometimes puts his hands down in the area while we're changing him, yuck!  When DH and I are both home we do it together, LOL.

My ds4 who is 21 months still does it.  I think it is easier to do it on the changing table b/c he cant really go anywhere but he tries.
