If your progesterone is low you are at extreme risk for miscarrying.  I know alot of girls that have to be on progesterone pills or shots just so that they can stay pregnant.  If your luteal phase is within the normal range of 10 to 16 days then I don't think you have anything to worry about.  A 10 day LP is the minimum though and it is better to be around the 12 day mark.  It is not impossible to stay pregnant with lower levels of progesterone but it does make it pretty tough.

Progesterone is check at 7dpo through a blood test.  What is your LP length?

Michaela thanks for the reply. i'm not sure of my lutheal phase. but i o on day 14-16 and i have a 28 day cycle. if that is how you figure it out (i don't know). i have not had any hormone levels done. i was given 3 months of clomid and told if unsucessful on to next step. well this is my second cycle on it, and second pg. i keep taking tests, but they are getting lighter. i'm spotting on and off, and feeling crampy. but no af yet. i wish it would just come so i could get rx filled for next cycle. i left a message with my dr who will not be in until wednesday.i asked the nurse to tell him what is going on. i do not want to go through this again next month if something can be done. i feel beat down. i get over the not oing with the clomid, now i'm dealing with the not being able to stay pg.

I agree with Michaela, I'd have a hormone profile done, it's best to have that one done on cd 3 so hopefully you'll hear from your dr soon. Also checking progesterone levels post O. I needed progesterone supplements to carry this pregnancy into the 2nd trimester. With my first child, I never needed the supps.
