Hi Dr. P, I hope you could be so kind as to give me your opinion on this one.  I am on day 9 of stims-long lupron protocol, no fertility issues and am 35yo.  I was started on 150 Gonal F and 75 Menopur.   There has been some confusion as my clinic forgot to convert the canadian picomols to the US picograms/ml for my E2 levels.   The Canadian amounts are higher and you have to divide by 3.67 to get the US equivalent.  I have done some monitoring in Canada and my BW was as follows  baseline E2 64 (Can) or around 17(US), then day 4 stims it was at 335 (Can) or 91 (US), day 6 779 (Can) or 212 (US), on day 8 at my clinic it was 504 (US).  So since they forgot to convert them, they thought that my day 6  value of 779 dropped to 504, when actually it was 212 and went to 504. It did increase and more than double.   I brought it to their attention that they forgot to convert the values but they said it was still too low. They increased my dose to 75 Menopur and 225 Gonal F.  I am happy that it didn't drop, since I have read that when E2 drops during stims preg rates are low, but it still seems low to me.  My RE wants it to be over 1000 by day 12.  On US I seem to have about 8-10 decent looking follicles.  Do you think there is any hope and is increasing to 225 Gonal F at this point in the right ballpark?  My hunch is that they should have started me higher to begin with.  Maybe next time I'll start with the king of GS!  Thanks so much.
